Omg - this isn’t red but if anyone is looking for a green pocket purse...

Not authenticated and not my listing... I’m so tempted. Please someone get this before I buy it!

Why did I look at this? Anyone know if it's authentic and if it would rehab well? I'll post in authentication thread as well if it hasn't already been posted there. It looks to me to be in pretty good condition already, but I'm still new to vintage Coach.

I saw it listed on Posh too where you can see the creed stamp.

Does anyone have 1996 spring catalog pictures of the Watson (9981) and what colors it came in? Googling is not finding me anything. I’m thinking in addition to hunting down bags, I need to hunt me down some real life vintage coach catalogs...

Edit: I was actually watching some catalogs from the 80s on eBay and didn’t realize the listings had ended and it all sold! Oh well.

I don't have any catalogs for the Watson. I have this picture from the wayback (June1997) that shows some color choices.

I received my red day pack today and for the life of me I cannot explain why, but when I opened the box and saw it, I just burst out laughing, thinking what in the world is a 40+ year old woman doing trying to wear a teensy weensy red back pack. It was the most unexpected reaction to a bag that I've ever had. I had a horrible, horrible day at work yesterday and though today was better it was still enormously stressful, so it was such a relief to just laugh. Even if it made no sense, I just laughed. And then I stand there looking at the thing, glass of wine in hand, well on my way to being half in the bag myself, thinking that I don't freaking care if 40 year old women shouldn't be wearing microscopic back packs. I don't care. I love it and I'm gonna wear it and it's perfect for walking my dogs, which is what I bought it for. Does that make any sense?
