Edit. Is it weird that I feel bags come in waves, like certain styles will suddenly all appear at the same time? Then they all disappear again. Is it also sad that I check so often that I see this as the case? Ha... haha.

I totally see styles coming in waves! I have a bunch of saved searches on eBay, and I notice when I see lots of new listings for one style, I'll hardly see anything of another. I was tempted by a british tan Quincy I saw recently, but I'm trying not to buy multiples anymore (except possibly a Stewardess in red or blue or a Patty in green) and I already have a black Quincy. Plus, I've put myself on a ban until after August. I'm not confident I'll last that long, but I'm really going to try this time!
I'm hoping that there will be a wave of purple vintage bags some day! And also Winnies that are under $50. After my ban is over, of course.

There was definitely a small wave of Winnies recently but all went for over $50. Except for a couple. I am hoping for one for under $50 too! Good luck on your ban! I supposedly was on one just now but I just ordered another bag, which puts me up to 5 bags in about 2 weeks and that’s not good. Haha. But hey if we are all stuck indoors it’ll be nice to have some bags to work on (so I say to myself)...

I dont feel so alone...Ive got 6 coming that Ive bought in the last few weeks.

I've actually stuck to my bag ban the last 2 weeks, but I've also started buying more things I'll need for the trip we'll be taking in August, assuming we won't have to cancel! So I don't think I'm actually saving any money....

Does anyone have a Madison Carnegie clutch? Just purchased one online for my mom and I'm wondering about the size. Looks a bit bigger than the purse I'm helping her replace. Also ended up ordering a newer black Coach crossbody/clutch she liked, so I'm also hoping she'll let me keep the Carnegie:giggle:

I am new to Coach and have gotten my first 2 older/almost vintage bags - a well-rehabbed 2001 made in Costa Rica mahogany pocket purse 9755, and a new condition 2007 made in US red pocket purse 9755. I have noticed that the leather on the mahogany bag seems much softer and nicer than the red bag. I know there can be a wide difference in leathers depending on year, where it was made, etc., so I am just curious if you all can enlighten me a little bit. I don’t know if this is because the brown bag is more used and the red bag will soften over time, or if the brown bag is made in Costa Rica vs the red bag made in US, or if it’s because the brown bag is 2001 and the red bag is 2007, or maybe a combination of all these factors? Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!
