I could use a bit of advice… Chanel jacket or Frivole pendant??? I’m treating myself, but can only choose one. Sigh…
Chanel jacket: love this piece more than anything I’ve seen from Chanel in a while. Love a good masculine/ feminine look. Cons… I’ve got some more baby weight to lose before it’s comfortable for me to wear and not feel self conscious.
Frivole: would be my first VCA necklace. I have a pave 5 motif VA bracelet and matching earrings. Love the idea of a similar, but different pendant. Would be worn daily.

Would love your thoughts on if you would choose the Frivole and why? Or if I should just keep the jacket and know I’ll be back to my usual size soon enough

Hi! This is an easy one for me. Frivole pendant for sure. Why?

The jacket looks too tight on you based on the photo. There is a big gap with the jacket open so I assume it's too tight to button.
Buying something that you plan to wear after you lose some weight is a big no in my book. Buy clothing based on your size as you are. If you plan to lose more weight, buy it after you have lost the weight. There will be more jackets. Chanel comes out with jackets every season.

On the jacket itself, my personal opinion is the hot pink color and the Mandarin collar is not going to stand the test of time for a Chanel jacket. If you already have tons of Chanel jackets that you buy every season, and this is one of many, it's not a big deal.

On the collar...I've had Mandarin collar jackets, and I grew tired of the look fairly quickly. To me, it's the worst collar style for a jacket as it covers up the neck too much and makes one look like they have a short neck. Just my experience from owning a few. It's all preference of course, and you may love it.

Fine jewelry lasts for years and works with every outfit. I would buy the Frivole now. It’s a gorgeous piece! A new jacket can wait.

Just my two cents. Hope it was helpful. Good luck deciding!

I really appreciate your thoughtful response, and think you are 100% right.
Fail. Time to go get that necklace…

Just curious, would a bracelet aid tool like this scratch the gold for the Alhambra bracelets? I need to use it but paranoid I might be scratching/ruining the bracelet.

I use this tool, it doesn't cause scratches because you clip it onto the chain, not onto the clasp. It also has rubber padding on the inside of the clip (at least mine does).

I think you look absolutely beautiful in that jacket! Get whichever makes you feel special , the necklace looks nice as well

Will a local store remove the links of bracelet if it’s purchased in another country? I just need to show them the receipt that it’s dated within the 12mth frame is this correct ?
Correct, usually with the receipt and certificate of authentication. I’ve had no issues with alterations done on overseas purchases.

@San2222 Thanks too. Meaning within same country is 12mth and from other country it will be 3?

I just checked the VAT rebate (is it typically hovering 12% in europe?). The difference is only significant if item is priced like 5-figure, if compare to my local price.
