I dont know of a price increase, but my VCA SA has used that as a selling tactic. I fell for it the first time and purchased a necklace. I checked regularly after purchasing and saw that it never really went up.Hi everyone does anyone know of a price increase in April in the Uk? I think it’s rare to go DOWN in size on the VCA journey lol, but I couldn’t get the tiny rose gold hammered out of my head.. and I wanted something 100% carefree to wear around the beach, pool, ocean, camping, whatever. And / or opens up some fun layering options with other dainty necklaces.
Honest honest - does it seem too small for super casual days?
I will say the RG hammered is much more beautiful in real life than I expected.

Unless you really love the Magic Alhambra BTF ring, I would skip it. I love love love BTF rings, but when I tried this one on, it is very flat and very very logo-y. It's not artistic at all to me, and it looks like a huge four leaf clover on your finger. That said, if you like the logo-y look, this ring is it. It will scream Alhambra. Aside from the logo aspect, what kills it for me is the jumbo Magic motif which is very flat as a ring, and I prefer rings to have a bit more dimension and artistic looki. That's just me of course, and there are folks who love this ring and look.
That said, staying with your theme, what would I suggest?
I would suggest the Lucky BTF Ring. It is at least artistic, and the stones will match your other pieces. You can wear either your MOP or TE 5-motif bracelet, and it will look quite nice. You still get the VCA look, but it's more elegant as the Alhambra motif on the BTF ring is Vintage size and matches & compliments the bracelet motifs which is also Vintage size. This is not the case with the jumbo Magic BT ring which just screams logo. Then, and add a 5-motif bracelet, your wrist will scream logo jewelry wrist. You can tell I am anti logo jewelry look, and that's just me. Howver, if that is look you are after, the Magic Alhambra BTF is the ring!
Here is the Lucky BTF ring I am thinking of. I think it will be so gorgeous with your 5-motif TE bracelet or your MOP.

I think it’s perfect for casual, low key days. I opted for sweet earrings (over vintage) for this very reason.
Not sure if you’re into stacked necklaces, but I love when people post pics of their sweets layered w other necklaces!
I personally love the sweet RG hammered and it looks great on you! Given that it has a glistering effect in person, I don't think it's underwhelming or too small to wear on its own, and will certainly look great when layer with other necklaces. Maybe it's just me but I can really feel the weight when wearing VA size pendants and can't sleep with it on, but with the sweet size pendant I can keep it on 24/7. Have you ever consider getting a sweet 6 motif RG hammered to wear interchangeable as a bracelet and choker necklace? I just got one recently because some days I feel like the sweet 16 motif is too much but a single pendant is a bit bare, so the sweet 6 motif is like a happy medium and it layer well with other necklaces/bracelets too
It sounds like the Sweet RG necklace makes you happy and suits your life really well, so of course wear it and enjoy it! One of the great things about it is the design - it's suspended on a bale instead of fixed like the VA single motifs, so it probably needs a lot less adjusting as you wear it and go about your day.
I’m nearing the end of my journey and I’m getting smaller too. I have at least 3 sweet pieces on my wishlist because I am focused on pieces I can wear every day and forget I have on. That’s the life I have and my level of daily jewelry comfort.
I’ve recently had more thoughts on this. I started my journey in seriousness in 2015/2016, and just fell in love with Alhambra. And then embraced the vintage size. Went nuts on bracelets. But after having them for a number of years I realize I want pieces in my wrist I don’t need to take off and I forget I have on. Not that I would give up a single one of my five motifs. I LOVE THEM ALL. BUT!!! I think the one I will wear more than all of them is still on its way. We shall see. Even my HFG bangle, I don’t wear that much. And again, never giving it up BUT I want pieces that would wear non-stop. Anyway, that’s me. I am probably more sensitive than most because I “feel” larger pieces of jewelry and I would wear them more if I didn’t.

Hi everyone, I'm new here and new-ish to VCA too. I purchased the YG guilloche earrings few months ago and now want to purchase the 10 motif necklace to match. I'm based London, UK and have been informed that I could place a deposit to acquire that piece however due to the news of price increase, a crazy amount of orders have been placed and the wait time is about 8 months. Is that true? Has anyone else heard similar? Not sure what to do in this case. I feel a bit disappointed as I was eyeing that piece for a while.

My 1st VCa piece was the WG sweet alhambra pave pendant. I sold it though as I found it too small. But i subsequently sold all my VCA pendants. I only go for 10 motif now haha. Personal prefs. Depending on what you are looking to use it for
