Nope! Don't have the R/G clover Perlee bracelet any longer. I am leaning towards the W/G Clover Perlee, and either W/G or Y/G signature. I currently wear the W/G 4 dia LOVE. Most of my jewelry is plat or W/G. My watch is the stainless 24 Patek. I don't feel like I need the pave Magic pendant, because I have a fantastic Harry Winston dia pendant, from the New Loop collection, that I purchased to compliment VCA items. I sold my two vintage bracelets, so I am starting VCA collection from square one. I just want to invest well! I did enjoy having the Perlee clover, but just didn't want R/G anymore. Do you ladies think the Perlee Clover is an important piece to invest in? Will it become an iconic piece? Another idea I have is possibly a 20 motif and small Lotus earrings. If I get the bracelet now, I will add the a 20 motif and earrings in the next year. Oh what to do, what to do? So much to buy!!!
I have been doing research about Harry Winston Loop pendant and followed your post! It's so impressive that you bought it very early, as I heard they are very hard to get nowadays. May I ask did you buy the open or closed loop pendant back then? :)

Hi everyone!

Super stoked I was offered the lucky alhambra 4 motif bracelet. Any ladies with the same bracelet able to share if the dangling clover gets in the way? That’s really my only concern!
I have it, and it does dangle and can get in the way if you are using your hands a lot, like cooking, typing, etc. I usually wear it on the left wrist for that reason. It's such a pretty and whimsical bracelet. Since there is malachite, I am careful not to wear it around water and such. I don't wear it too often-- it's special to me, and I love having it in my collection.

Is this a piece that you plan to wear often? I've had mine for a few years and while @may3545 is spot on as always in that it's a beautiful, whimsical piece, it may not be wearable as a more daily piece if that is what you are after. It does dangle, and Malachite is delicate. The only other issue I have with mine, and this may just be me, is that the space between the charms is a little much.. it just feels like I'm wearing a chain bracelet depending on where the charms are sitting at any fiven moment if that makes sense. Again, I think this is just me.... Overall, I would buy the bracelet again without hesitation - even my husband really loves it. So it's a yes for me.

I love the look of the 4 motif too, but i am scared of the malachite and mop. I love the WG version better though.

Would shortening the bracelet help bring the motif closer? I wear mine ard 16.5cm

I'm not sure. They are not taking any SO on it. And then one of the "new" managers mentioned they maybe deleting it. So I'm curious if anyone else has heard the same!
I'd read that elsewhere on this forum too! I was able to buy a bracelet in Korea this past October though, and when I asked my SA about the line being discontinued, she said she had not heard anything about it - of course, that was a few months ago. . . Hope it's not the case, as I'm hoping to add a 10 motif! (Apologies to jump in - this is my first post ever after a lot of lurking, as I'm a bit shy - but wanted to chime in as a VCA lover in case helpful!)

Thanks to all who chimed in. I did make the purchase as I was worried I may not get the chance after this me is gone!

Was searching in stores in my home country and in Europe while on holiday last year but was always met with ‘hard to come by’. Was super surprised I was offered this piece in another country, as I’m travelling now, with no purchase history/relationship!

I am looking for expertise and help , I ventured away from Cartier and made my first VCA purchase 2.5 hours away in Vancouver and bought two bracelets, on the drive home I was able to admire the bracelets closer I noticed this..I also felt the malachite had a deeper gold tone but it may just be the stone pairing. Any thoughts before my return window is over.

The space between the prongs and how each motif is different
Assuming that this question isn't asking for views on authenticity (as I don't have the expertise to weigh in), when you say the space between the prongs, do you mean the gap between the stone and the beading? That does occur - more experienced folk can correct me, but I believe more obvious gaps/air lines are not uncommon with older MOP pieces. Also remember seeing an interesting view somewhere in the forum that the air lines in newer pieces may be intentional to allow the material of the motifs to expand with temperature changes, as the gold and the stones would expand and contract at different rates. I can see gaps/air lines in my fairly new 10 motif if I hold it up to the light, but I don’t notice them when I’m wearing the necklace so it’s okay for me. If I could see obvious uneven gaps when I’m wearing a piece, that’d likely bother me. So perhaps consider whether the air lines are to the extent that they will bother you every time you look at the bracelet. I'd want to be able to look at my piece and enjoy, not feel disappointed or annoyed.

And when you mention that each motif is different, I can't immediately tell from the pics, but with something like malachite I'd expect (and want) some variation in the striations given we're talking natural stone. Again, perhaps consider if the appearance bothers you.

Not sure if this is what you were getting at, but hope that helps to some extent? Sure the more experienced folks can provide more/better advice!

Thank you for the information. I’m realizing VCA pieces seem to vary slighting piece by piece where as with Cartier you can expect a carbon copy. I decided to keep the bracelets and love them
