Hi i'm a newbie here but long time VCA lover. I am wondering if anyone has seen the "hirondelle" setting rings lately? I am thinking of getting one with a smallish emerald cut diamond... for everyday and not too loud...

Happy new year everyone! i am also thinking of getting the Noeud ring as i have loved it for years, but i need a smaller ring for everyday.... i don't have a picture of the hirondelle setting so i am not sure if they still make it!

Got invited to an upcoming vca event (some sort of presentation in store followed by a dinner at a fancy restaurant). This would be my first time at an event like this and wondering what attire should I aim for? Examples of what others have worn to events like this previously? Thanks!

I’ve been to several cocktail events there but never with dinner. You must be a very special client. Anyway I’ve seen everything from simple office wear to full on sexy cocktail dresses so it runs the gamut. This was in NYC. Wear whatever you feel and look terrific in, and please report back.

Anyone knows if the Alhambra hammered YG / RG is being discontinued? Someone mentioned they may be replacing it with guilloche ??

hard to get doesn't necessarily mean discontinued

i think they are using the manpower to focus on the white guilloche that just recently launched , so all their resources are going towards that

I heard this in Rome before Christmas. There's been a lot of talk around it but I find it so hard to believe.

Hammered is a classic! It seems indestructible too, so perhaps not much money is to be made/customers don‘t need to come in for cleaning (and browsing) etc. after it‘s sold? I‘m very glad I got the bracelet and 10 motif.

That's the only piece I want to buy from them. their margins are probably much lower for the hammered golds since that actually has value. mother of pearl and the other stones they used can be purchased for pennies on the dollar
