VCA - SA Recommendations/Requests Thread

I guess the advantage is that you can use NM gift card? For my local NM VCA store the stock is quite limited though.
I was wondering if NM VCA stores provide service to vca pieces purchased from VCA website? Giving the covid situation I might just purchase online as NM is closed.

My VCA DSA in Atlanta is working IN-STORE 4 days a week. Would you like his info?

I’m hoping to purchase my first VCA piece for my birthday in a couple of weeks and was hoping someone could give me the details of their SA in Harrod’s please!

Rumours are out about black tier members being able to remotely shop very soon!

Any help would be great, I’m desperate!

We don't have a VCA boutique here but there is a beautiful VCA in our Neiman Marcus and I have impeccable service there including hand written thank yous sent to my home.

Apparently you need an SA to do the remote personal shopping, but SAs in other departments aren't able to help me sadly !

When I was in London last year I worked the nicest, most accommodating SA at Harrods, but for the life of me I can’t remember her name. She was a lovely Asian lady who knew I wasn’t buying anything that day, but was more than willing to let me try on whatever I wanted. I later made a purchase in my home boutique.

I’m glad you had a lovely experience there, I had a similar one too but silly me didn’t take down their details pre-pandemic

Same, hadn't even thought of it! I had already shopped too much that trip and wasn’t ready go buy anything that day, plus I knew I wanted to start a relationship with a SA in my home store. But it was a great experience, which can’t be said for some other areas of Harrods these days.

I generally love shopping at Harrods if I’m honest, but I can see what you mean about particular departments unfortunately

I have made a lot of VCA purchases from NM, every purchase came with original card receipt and not a printed letter as I have seen recently in forums! Always beautifully boxed/ wrapped in vca boxes, travel pouch and vca shopping bag!
My VCA salesperson is working and shipping orders as we speak so Neiman’s is not closed just know that stock for certain items is low all over the us not just VCA @ NM! They have access to the same system as the boutiques to merchandise.

I have a lovely SA at NM. And I have also had a not great experience with a different NM SA. I depends a lot on who you get.

My NM SA is fabulous. She’s very helpful and not pushy at all. If I ask her opinion, I feel she gives it to me honestly as I’ve dealt with her for years. On the other hand, I also have an SA at VCA who is also helpful and wonderful to work with. Both get back to me with my many questions. Since I don’t live near either store, I’m happy with both SAs. The packages come well wrapped so my reveal is special.
