The 2 diamond/gold pieces I was interested in went up by 3% in HK. No reason to panic buy over that.

I managed to place a deposit for the rose gold hammered sweet 6 motif bracelet yesterday, the price was £3.150. Today the price is £3.400 on the website so it makes a 6.5% increase.

I put the Sapphires Folie de Pres bracelet on my wishlist (well, dream list) in January 2024 when the price was $137,000. It is now $194,000. I know there has been another price increase in there but that still is a big jump. I recently tried on two HJ watches—the A Cheval with diamonds and sapphires that went from $261,000 to $285,000 and the Ruban Secret Watch with diamonds that went from $365,000 to $430,000. I still haven’t found the 47% my SA quoted and it looks like the 10% figure is the result of a few pieces (all gold, gold and malachite) making a big jump while other pieces posted more modest increases. I am now sorry that I posted her info! I may have fueled panic buying. 😥Price increases seem vary by country - I almost fell off my chair when looking at Australia and NZ prices last nightwhilst both Japan and Singapore seem more modest in terms of %
One that had me heartbroken is the price increase for the Sapphires Folie De Pres - My God, they're INSANE!!! The Mauve Pink earrings alone increased by a whooping ~26.5% (~3M JPY or ~35K SGD)and I am too scared to compare the prices for the matching floating necklace and floating bracelet
It looks consistent with what I've been told that VCA probably have issue in sourcing the beautiful/matching colored Sapphires and hence, it's on no order list.
Well, every cloud has its silver lining given my other wishlists are not impacted terribly this time around. Now that I am on a Ban Island for possibly a loooong time, I am also beyond grateful of those I’ve acquired so far so, let’s see 😄 When the time’s right, I may do some reveal as well.

We did have price reductions for HJ and Poetic Complication watches before (sometime back in end Oct or early Nov last year) - I knew this because I've been tracking their prices and my SA has been diligently updating me. In fact, I wasn't too happy that my Flowerlace pendant had a price reduction (~USD5xx) merely about a month after it was invoiced out, and the earrings initially had a problem.
During the HJ price increase this time around, it seems it's a payback time for VCA to increase the Flowerlace pendant with the highest percentage (i.e. ~7.6%), followed by the ring and earrings
Other than the above, the other HJ and Poetic Complication watch that I have been looking out (not sure whether they are still wishlist or dream list), including the Ludo had modest increase of ~7-8% with the exception of Mauve/Blue Sapphires Folie de Pres. I just have a feeling that their HJ pricing is really fluid as compared to standard jewelry but of course, given their base costs are already at the high (or highest) price point, any % increase or decrease really feels (super) substantial 😂

Prices for carnelian and tiger's eye now differ too, with tiger's eye priced higher. The hammered 10-motif has increased by £750 (8.72%), and the tiger's eye 5-motif has gone up by £250, while carnelian remains unchanged.
I had wanted to do a price compare, but instead I am just going to post the “before” prices of a bunch of items that I screenshot. Like others have said, the rise in malachite and MOP (of all things!) rose much more than others. I am shocked and a little disgusted that they increased the two butterfly collection across the board. I feel like that is way overpriced anyway. Hope the screenshots can help folks compare. This is for USA.

To me it looks like the popular items were the ones that were significantly impacted by the PI. Annoyed at my SA for not letting me know that a PI was about to happen especially when I had contacted her 3 days prior to PI announcement.
My SA was only told 2 days prior. She told me to keep it hush hush. I don’t think they are supposed to tell but I was asking about a piece and I think she was trying to push the sale.
