I bookmarked a photo somewhere that was an unexpectedly pleasant pairing. A lengthened sweet Alhambra necklace with a magic pendant worn long. I think it worked nicely visually because the chain setting is the same on the sweet and on the magic. Does anyone remember this photo and what sweet necklace stone or metal it was?

I don’t think it would be a RG or MOP sweet, because those tend to be very subtle.

I went through my bookmarked photos on the site, but it seems that the labels were deleted somehow along the way.

My thanks.

These two are so complimentary! This is why your styling photos are so inspiring, it’s unexpected, but it works so perfectly together.

So beautifully unexpected
Thank you! I thought the obvious combo would be WG hammered, but my eyes landed on the chalcedony and gave it a try. I think it helps with mixing and matching that I store my pieces on a tray and can see everything at a glance.

This is a 10 motiff, sometimes I dont like wearing it because the color is less 'bright' than what I see online. I dont have a matching bracelet but I found one with a personal shopper and the color was a different shade than mine, so now I am unsure how can two pieces have different shades ? But anyway the prices are waaaaay too crazy.
Anyway I dont show my neck im insecure about it lol !

Hello, yes, that is an unusual shade, but maybe it is the lighting. To answer your other question, most stones are found in quite different shades, that’s why they can be hard to match pieces. Some may change color over time, others are naturally occurring in different shades, or it can be a combination of the two. From the current offerings, only onyx and solid gold/pave are always completely consistent (though older pieces will look different as well), porcelain is fairly consistent as well.
