I love blue bags 💙 also agree on the smooth leather for Valextra, for me it’s more luxe feel than the grained one… even if it’s scratches, it ages beautifully and somehow I feel like it’s better value for moneyI think I will never pass on a smooth Valextra for the right price. I love the leather soooooo much. The color (do you know what it's called?) is gorgeous.
A totally personal problem, now I have 4 blue bags, which is kind of ridiculous. 3 are Valextras and I'm not parting with them, and one is probably the only Moynat I'll ever own, so cannot get rid of that either. They are different shades of blue, but still, a surprising choice for someone who always thought she didn't care much for blue bags. Ha.
I cannot believe how lightweight this bag is. Holy cow! Even with my items in it, it's like it wasn't even on my shoulder.
But here's what made me go "hmmmmm" about this bag. I kind of feel like the opening is a little tight. Small? Tight? I'm not sure the right word. Maybe due to newness and maybe I am being too precious. And I am surprised my LV toiletry pouch 19 takes up as much room as it does in there. It isn't as easy as I wish to see/grab my things. Removing the TP 19 and not storing the shoulder strap inside will make a big difference. The Brera is not all that much larger, but fits a ton (though is a little bulky).
Again, maybe I was being too careful. I'll fool around with it later.
If it were up to me, I'd size a bag exactly between the two and it would be bag perfection.
My beauty pouch is quite small and since I tend to carry small items, like keys, powerbank, a water bottle, I haven’t had any trouble with the opening so far, I also love that if needed I can fit my Ipad Air on wider side of the bag.
I have both Brera and Triennale in medium, and somehow Brera feels more bulkier than Triennale, I haven’t even carried it out yet, as the color I bought it in is more fall-winter season for me. But I totally adore my mini Brera, since it fits all my essentials despite being mini! For me the sizes than work best in Valextra for each model are:
- Brera in mini
- Iside in small
- Triennale in medium
I have 5 bags in total from Valextra, in addition to the ones I listed above, I have another Iside in small and the Brera in medium, but since I haven’t worn that Brera yet, I’ll see how I feel about it in fall-winter season 🤔
For some reason I tend to go for either mini bags or not structured, more tote bag-like shapes in summer, or bucket bags, so have now so many structured bags sitting the wardrobe waiting for trench/coat season 😄
