Although not the medium, I have the large weekend hobo and it is my favorite bag when I travel for work: very lightweight, can pack almost completely flat in my carryon, fits a ton. Personally I prefer the size of the medium, but really needed the larger size for work-purposes. I have 4 Valextra pieces (Twist, *Babila tote, Weekend hobo, Brera wallet) and the WH is my favorite.

Edit: I just realized you responded to my earlier post about the clasp! Also, to answer your question I can wear the WH crossbody but I never do, as I prefer a shoulder-carry.

I’d say it is pretty lightweight considering it is leather lined. Mine is 512 grams. Also, I realized that my bag could be the medium you are referring to - mine was purchased a while ago and now it seems there is a smaller size. My bag has two back pockets FYI.

Thank you both! Sonic, I do think you have the current medium, and I hope to join the WH club! I stumbled on green and burgundy medium ones on sale and both are on their way to me. I will post when they arrive; I'm thinking the green may be the one for me . . .

Sure, Newton, I found these on Yoox. I think most of their things are from past seasons, and both of these bags seem to be slightly misshapen due to storage (although the Weekend Hobos often look a little misshapen to me in photos), but the prices were great.

Pictures attached. I’m still deciding whether to keep one and am struggling because the length seems a little long on me (I’m 5’4”) and I’m a little worried about the glossy leather since I want to use this as a workhorse travel bag, but I do love the teal one . . .

Has anyone used a smooth leather Valextra bag as a workhorse? How has it held up?

Those are beautiful! I just saw a few of these bags in the saffiano-type leather and didn’t think they looked very lux. But the smooth leather…swoon! I can’t comment on wear and tear, but I would hope it would behave similar to box where scratches could be buffed out and would develop patina - ?

This week they had so many “new” arrivals, and my Triennale was one of them ;)

Also since I technically got my Valextra bags on sale, I don’t bother with the resale value as I didn’t pay the full retail, and should I scratch a bag or anything else happen to it, I feel like I won’t feel as bad as I would should I have paid the full price :rolleyes:

They have a few S Series right now. I don't know how popular that is, but I LOVE mine in smooth leather!
