Just wanted to give a little update - can't believe I've had my Borough since February and the Highrise since March. I was nervous to use my Borough at first and was extra careful, but I have been using the Highrise a lot without worrying about being too careful. I was even brave enough to bring my Highrise around NYC. The early stages of patina can look a bit rough sometimes - small marks can stand out, the patina can be a bit uneven/streaky, but I suppose that's what gives it character, and it eventually evens out more. Recently, since my Highrise has shown me there's nothing to be afraid of, I've been using my Borough a lot more. I took some pictures so you could see how everything's going. A few marks/smudges on the back of the Borough, but not too bad. It's still a lot more pink compared to the Highrise, though I'm not sure the difference is so obvious in these pictures. I'm hoping to get a lot more use out of both, and some more patina, before winter.
