Congrats to all the people that have been invited to the private sale. Its a shame the Hermes has decided to keep all the sales in New York, people on the West Coast haven't had a sale since the last one which was open to the public in Costa Mesa.

I went as a friends plus one. When that appt was made, DH (who is my official acct holder) had not yet received an invite, but he was also able to go later. sample sale was organized and there was a relatively good assortment of scarves; RTW; and a lot of shoes. There were also some home goods. Not much of a line anywhere, and relatively uncrowded inside. An SA told off a customer who took pics, and she made the customer delete the pics from her phone (In the photo library and somewhere else on the phone). No line to pay.

I got a cotton shirt dress, a khaki jacket with leather trim, a mens CSGM, and three pairs of shoes. Lizard suede mules; silver sneakers, and wedge ankle boots. When DH went later, he got a techno jacket with leather hood and pockets; a mens CSGM, and a pair of black boots with strap buckle fastenings. white athletic soles. I think the shoes and scarves were 50% off. RTW 70% off. First pic is my stuff. Other pics are DH’s. The only line was for the three dressing rooms. The mens RTW section had an SA who helped with sizes and styles.

We were told at check out that sale was likely to be private going forward. The cashiers commented that they wanted to avoid the massive lines and reselling of prior years. The cashier also asked +1s whether they had shopped at Hermes, and asked for their name and looked up their H acct.

Re Invites: i was told that H corporate handles the invites; some SAs were not even told that there would be a sample sale this season. The invite was sent via email with instructions to make a specific timed slot. You had to give the info of your +1. All parties received an emailed confirmation with QR code. The original guest accompanied by the +1 were asked for photo ID to match the email. Outerwear jackets had to be checked but we could take hand bags. There were plenty of appointment slots for the time DH picked, and he did not make his appointment in advance.

Can’t wait to see how you style the khaki jacket! Such great finds that all match so well! DS has the same jacket in blue and loves it when springs starts in Paris.

Thanks so much @J’adoreHermes ! Im sure your DS’s blue jacket is lovely. I‘m thrilled to buy basic neutral pieces bc it reduces cost per wear :)

The leather Jacket was the best find of the day other than the exotic mules!

Thank you so much @Naynaykilla  I love all of your selections! You look fabulous!

i cross posted in Purchases, and someone asked for prices, so I thought I would include here:
trail goatskin metallic sneakers: 500 USD (50%)
roxane goatskin/lizard mules: 775 USD
andrene low boot:712.50 USD
mens 140 CSGM scarf: 575 USD
Parachute beige toast shirt dress: 480 USD (RTW 70%) (originally 1600)
washed cotton garbardine leather detail jacket : 1155 USD ( originally 3850)

what I spent for everything was around the price of the jacket and maybe a silk full price

Ladies that received an invite, can you share your Hermes journey here? I know two VIP clients that didn’t receive and invite and neither did I who only got a pair of orans last year. Just curious what group of people is granted the access to the sale

I’m considered “VIP” and I didn’t receive an invite in the first blast that was sent out. I asked my SA, they said they reached out to corporate and I was approved for an invite and to check my spam box. As of today, I still don’t see an invite. If anyone is going today or tomorrow and wouldn’t mind looking for two pieces in RTW for me I will be happy to pay a fee to get them!
I know someone who works at Hermes corporate office and she said they can send an invite if you bought a birkin within past 6 months. My friend actually got one like 2 months ago and he asked his SA for an invite but also haven’t received an email so at this point idk how it works

My friend is VVIP and bought 3 B25 (1 exotic in Europe, 1 exotic in US and touch in US) in the last 5 months. No invite either. H works in mysterious ways

This is starting to sound like VCA holiday pendant all over again. One of my friends who's VIP at my local boutique didn't get the invitation either, she has purchased 2 quota bags and got offered a SO all within this year. Meanwhile this acquaintance who casually shops at H once in a while for some shoes and scarves got invited to the sale :confused1:
