I personally enjoyed the shopping experience at this year's sale a lot. It was very relaxed and organized. I finished within an hour, so didn't even have to wait to check out. From talking to the employees there, it was clear that everyone thought the past public sales were just too crazy. With ppl getting upset about waiting in line for many hours, and then still not getting in, on top a very frenzied shopping environment for those who did get in, employees felt relieved this year's private only.

I'm also not a VIP client in NYC where there are many many high spenders. Here's to hoping all of us true H lovers will get to attend next year's! :drinks:

I agree, it is more organized and less haotic. You are not VIP, but you have a good relationship with a SA. I am not a VIP but didn’t receive the invite, although I was in their database as purchaser. I am trying to evaluate my options for the next year. Thanks a lot.

The event was organized and clean, and provided a sense of safe and frenzy-free shopping. There were some very good items, including the rouge blush Oran sandals and H Coaching men’s muffler (in my absolute favorite cw) that I was lucky to buy.

Do I have any day-after regrets? Yes. I wish I kept the rose ete mini dog clous bracelet and black sweater dress in my shopping bag during checkout. If I should be so lucky to attend next year maybe I’ll trust my initial impression of all items I pick up and keep them in the bag during checkout.

I hope H corporate finds an equitable way to provide the opportunity to attend the sale to other H clients small, medium, and big. And I fully disclose that I’m not VIP - not by a long, long, long Aaron Judge home run distance shot.

The sandals are absolutely beautiful, good job. I am not a VIP either, and didn’t receive an invitation. I am wondering what criteria was used when invitations were sent out. Thanks for your post.

I'm starting to read some selling of Hermes sample sale merchandise. Not as frenzy as last year's sale. Plenty of pm. No pictures or videos posted of what's being sold. The resellers that I follow on IG that hired line sitters and went at least three days in a row last year are quiet. They had so much Hermes sales merchandise last year they was selling it from their hotel rooms.

Vastly different shopping experience from prior years. Very organized and efficient and no funny business. Many other ladies have covered the logistics already. There are only 3 changing rooms with max 5 pieces. Advice to checkout to 15 mins before the end of your session was wise and very appreciated.

Without further ado, here’s my small haul: mint sweater, black silk blouse, grey asymmetrical work dress, fuchsia double tour, silk/cashmere light as air pink scarf and a magnetic hat clip for sunny vacations!

Well said - and I can tell you're a New Yorker with the Yankees ref. I question if I will be invited back, and if they're going to spread the invites around over the subsequent years. I did check the link again last night and there were still a bunch of open slots.

I’m an SF Giants fan but I will root for any team vs. the Astros ;).

I think slots will remain open because H corporate may have been too conservative with the invitations. I was surprised yesterday when close to hour’s end of my appointment and I was still deciding between a couple pairs of shoes, one of the security personnel said “why don’t you come back tomorrow too?” I laughed and said “as if I could reserve another slot!” not knowing there may have been some truth to the availability. Seriously, I would not return a second time if given the chance just because! The reservation link probably allows you to see the availability but not let you reserve a second time around.

Maybe they will release slots to a broader new list of clients, a second round.

Agreed on the Astros... I just think back to that cheating scandal!

It's awesome that you had a few shoe options. Buy the time I made it over, there wasn't very much left. The security guards were very nice and very engaging.

I’m currently sitting on the couch, watching Yankees vs Astros and scrolling thru the H forum. I have found my people :giggle:
