yes, a nice box with a lid - the small one came in the flimsier box with the flaps on both ends - but no numbers on it at all
I love the size of the Large but LOVE Lambskin more ... here is a pic of me with the Small Lambskin (not as stylish as jag, tho :shame: )

, but just fyi, I'm pretty sure they aren't made of lambskin. They're made of calf--something Chanel calls "evercalf." See this thread...http://forum.purseblog.com/chanel/response-from-chanel-re-reporter-40895.html?highlight=cambon+calf
they're both gorgeous but it seems like you have your heart set on small one...........i so believe in emotional love for a purse triumphing over practical matters..i.e., if you love lambskin the best even though caviar is more durable,,,you will always think you settled for second best if you don't buy the lambskin...........
