Has anyone purchased from Cleprivee.co on ig before? The prices are pretty good but when I asked for more photos they went radio silent.
I had a similar experience. I never buy from IG but they had a unicorn/unfindable bag, and when I asked about it they could give no more details or photos and just kept trying to get me to buy. I'm assuming they stole someone's photo or it was a fake.

So the resale market isn’t as saturated as the resellers make it appears. Good to know. Thanks for sharing your experience hun.

To add to this, a friend of mine just told me she almost bought a bag from Cleprivee, a HSS bag, and when she asked about the specs because she realized the colors hadn't been available for Commande Speciale for years, they ghosted her.

ETA: I asked.....It was a bag with Plomb and Gris T Togo. ETA again, I checked, as far as I can see Plomb Togo hasn't been a choice in past 5 years and this was a 2023 bag :hrmm: . I love Plomb, so, I feel like I would have remembered its availability, and I don't remember it as an option since my first SO in probably 2015 or 2016. It's always possible that it's an SO placed 6-7 years ago that was finally made this year. But.....it's not that likely.

The scary thing is, these resellers are followed by another American reputable seller often quoted here as source for vintage and authentic bags. I really do not have the guts to buy from businesses other than H stores or reputable auction houses. Even if that means I lose out on some vintage items.

I have finally had it with TRR and will never shop their site again. I. AM. Done.

It’s not that hard to list a Hermes scarf and disclose its flaws.

I purchased a scarf that I have had on my search list for several years now.
It was described as Excellent condition and no visible signs of wear.

I purchased, paid for two day shipping and just opened the box……..

The scarf haas several runs that I was going to overlook and some disappointing fabric separation I decided to overlook as well……but……unfortunately then I discovered a HOLE in the scarf.

It seems TRR believes a hole in a $1000 scarf is “no visible signs of wear.”

1st photo shows the runs I was going to overlook
2nd photo show the fabric separation of what ever it is.
3rd and 4th photo shows the hole. A hole in a $1000 item that was not disclosed.

OOF, @MAGJES, what a frustrating and disappointing experience! I hope you get this resolved with TRR without much further aggravation.

That is unbelievable! Actually, it's believable but still awful. They need to send you a free shipping label stat.

I will never forget the day I asked for more pictures of a Kelly that TRR described as "very good condition" but with "corner wear and some scratches". The bag had an actual hole in it that a person could put a finger through.

Maybe they have a special warehouse full of things with holes in them....

Then on top of it all they keep hitting me up to sell to them, and then rejecting pristine items for imperfections I cannot see (and I am picky).

I recently bought an Hermes scarf from Hardlyeverwornit (HEWI), a mousseline (Les Leopards) listed as "never worn". It arrived with several stains, a couple of runs, and a perfume smell. To HEWI's credit, customer service was responsive and the return was pretty smooth and straightforward. Disappointingly, though, it looks like the scarf is back up on their site with the same listing, again as "never worn".
