Has anyone heard of Rich Couture (itsrichcouture.com) based in Beverly Hills? Seems to have a massive collection of BKCs, including limited editions.

Definitely a scam. I was wondering where they got all their pictures from and a reverse image search confirms all their photos are stolen from Jane's Fabulous Finds. Their social media pages aren't real at all - all dead links. If they had a real business they'd have a storefront and there's no record of this business existing at all.

I don't know if they'd just steal your money and ghost or if they might try to send you a fake and pass it off as real. But the site is definitely a scam.

Is it just me or do their prices look too good to be true?

Agreed. A brand new Noir Kelly Mini for $12,150…I don’t think so…

WOW! Thanks for the call-outs, folks! I was hoping for the best, but knew deep down it was too good to be true. Thanks for holding me back from the cliff! I owe you all dinner or at least a rodeo or a Clic H bracelet or something!

Hello there, I searched, but did not see any comment on this Ebay seller...they have a lot of seemingly beautiful scarves. Has anyone purchased from them? Located in Japan...

Seller name: ikshig19
Seller store name; Umematsuri Shop
Link to store: https://www.ebay.com/str/umematsurishop
This seller, plus a huge number of 'Japanese' sellers is a new breed of parasitic sellers who have emerged since the pandemic days. Unprecedented nuisance. Essentially what they do is they piggyback off legitimate luxury sellers in Japan by screenshotting tens of thousands of their photos from sites such as ya hu japan, and mer kari. This fraudulent practice has made it impossible to dig through the 50,000 scarves on e jay ( as opposed to the approx 10,000 which ARE legitimate), because 1- the number is overwhelming, 2 - many of these competing parasites screenshot the same pics. Most of their screen names include the word Japan or references to Japan ( something, most Japanese would never do) to subtly deceive the potential buyer into thinking they were dealing with a legitimate Japanese seller. They do this to obfuscate their true cultural identity, and again latch onto a fake Japanese one, as the Japanese are known to be highly ethical and would rarely resort to such classless, unethical, and quite frankly criminal behavior. Any screen name with Sakura, Fuji, Japan, ume, etc etc is likely to be one of these parasites. I have tried reaching out to e jay on a number of occasions but alas...futile beyond words. If anyone would like a list, id be happy to provide.

THANKS! This is very insightful as I look at evil Bay frequently for scarfs & have noticed this type of thing happening. From looking at & reading the feedback ratings on these vendors it did tend to raise red flags with me......Good explanation as to why.

My pleasure, happy to help.
To get a better idea of how bad the situation had gotten, I just popped into fleabay, and by the end of page 5, this is the list of fraudsters I casually pulled out (without even really trying).
A quick glance at their listings should suffice, eyesore much...?

Thanks. Again very useful.
Not sure about others, but I have bought Hermes scarfs from "gudinnanvintage" twice & been very satisfied. He/she was quick to respond comprehensively to my questions, the items received were as described in the listing & sent promptly after payment. I would not hesitate to use them again.

…and my sense is that it’s gotten exponentially worse. Very frustrating :annoyed:

This one is especially prolific:

They also post a lot of jewelry (this is why I personally have experience with them). It is clearly just screenshots from legit sellers, hundreds of copied listings per day sometimes, and as you mentioned at at much higher price than the original listing. The original listings may be on eBay, but may also be on Japan-only sites that are hard for non-natives to navigate. I think they wait for a customer to order, then they buy from the original seller and then ship to the buyer. The feedback for these sellers includes many mentions of cancelled orders. In my case, I ordered a pair of "earrings" which seemed to be at an appropriate price, so I though maybe they were just a great deal on whatever Japanese site, but I was ok with the final price. After about a week of waiting, they send me a message that it was only one earring of a set, "Can you confirm that you are ok with this?". I was not ok with this, as you can imagine. They cancelled my order and entered the reason as "buyer requested cancellation."

I’d like to add poncha.91 to the list. They popped up a few days ago and are all over the place. They repost other legitimate Japanese resellers’ listings but at a huge markup. It’s so brazen that they don’t even bother to remove the real resellers’ details like watermarks.
