I’ve been looking for 2424 mini for a few months but my SA couldn’t offer it to me, and I started to search for it online. I found one that I like on a website called tastethuxe.com, which I’ve never heard before, did anyone ever purchase any Hermes bags from them before? Is it legit and authentic ? Thank you for any input!

On 10 Nov, I paid a deposit for an Hermes bag by a reseller in Singapore who has a store in Orchard Road. At first I was told the bag would arrive in a few days. However, I was told later the seller would like to get a tax refund so the bag will only arrive in Sg on 22-23 Nov.

Yesterday I texted him to ask about the bag and I was told it would arrive later or today. I have been trying to get in touch with him regarding the bag but he did not reply even though he is online.

I would much appreciate a reply to let me know when the bag will arrive or if the bag will arrive. If the bag is not coming, just refund me my deposit. I have been waiting for some time. Sadly, it’s quite an agonising process. Let’s see how this will go.

Hey fellow Hermes lovers! I thought I would throw this out there to see what your thoughts are. After a year of owning my 2008, excellent condition, Birkin 40 togo black with palladium h/w - I am considering selling it. I purchased it from Janefinds for $14k and they are willing to consign it - offering me a quote in the range of 8-10k net. I then requested a quote from Fashionphile and they offered $9500 to buy it from me. I just requested a quote from Rebag as I heard that they are sometimes higher, but they came in at only $7450. I really don't want the hassle of trying to sell such an expensive item on my own - I'm too skeptical of the scammers out there. I just feel that going from 14k to 9500 is a big spread after just 1 year. I know these companies need to make money, but that is more than 25%. Any thoughts or suggestions for other ways to sell my beloved Birkin? Thanks for any thoughts or ideas.

I have sold many a Hermes to FP and they seem to be the highest buy out....that being said unless you think you might keep it...the overall price point for a buy out may well come down, with time. Consider all options.

Unfortunately, you bought from one of the highest priced resellers at the height of the market and now prices have corrected and taken a sharp decline. I’m honestly surprised FP offered as much as they did for a 2008 B40 and if you are set on selling, I would take their offer and run.
Agreed. Especially for a 40 cm that’s 14 years old

Does anyone have any experience selling a birkin on Julia Rose Boston? Currently thinking about consigning one with them, but I'm not sure how fast/smooth the turnaround and payment's gonna be like. I'd say it's a fairly popular combination (light classic color, gold hardware, togo in 25) but I'm leaning toward Fashionphile because they'd buy out, which is faster; the only caveat is that it's gonna be 5k less :-/ and since FP sends the payment via ACH it'll be taxed by IRS with the 1099-K or something whereas Julia Rose Boston will be paying via Paypal F&F (as the T&C says, but I'm not sure if she can send a payment that big via Paypal FF...) Any experiences in this regard would be appreciated!
