Does anyone have any experience selling a birkin on Julia Rose Boston? Currently thinking about consigning one with them, but I'm not sure how fast/smooth the turnaround and payment's gonna be like. I'd say it's a fairly popular combination (light classic color, gold hardware, togo in 25) but I'm leaning toward Fashionphile because they'd buy out, which is faster; the only caveat is that it's gonna be 5k less :-/ and since FP sends the payment via ACH it'll be taxed by IRS with the 1099-K or something whereas Julia Rose Boston will be paying via Paypal F&F (as the T&C says, but I'm not sure if she can send a payment that big via Paypal FF...) Any experiences in this regard would be appreciated!
There are some experiences with this reseller in the General Shopping thread.

I just received my bag from TRR which I absolutely love! Then I found the blind heat stamp after i opened the flap. I dont think I can overlook the 4 letters that have nothing to do with my name. Can anyone advice me on how to initiate a return given their no return policy? I just opened the box 20 minutes ago so I’m going to consider it overnight but ultimately knowing me, this is something I’ll be unable to live with. I am so bummed, color and bag are amazing otherwise.
Thanks for any help you can provide :crybaby:

Blind heat stamp? A personalized monogram?

Yes, 4 letters no foil front of the bag
Rats - how disappointing. I don’t think that I would be able to live with that either. You should not have a problem - if they didn’t provide pix of the stamp or mention it in the description, I would call that a material misrepresentation. (At least I would in my letter to them - LOL!). Make sure you put something in writing and keep copies. As frustrating as I find them, I can’t imagine that they would fight back too hard. Good luck!

I have returned bags to them that were not described accurately. Was the heat stamp pictured or mentioned in the listing? If not, I would start a chat with their CS and describe the situation and ask for a return.

Hi, thank you so much. The 4 letters were not mentioned or pictured. I am definitely going to initiate a return if I can. It would have been perfect If not for that! I had a huge smile when I opened the box and then surprise, feeling gone.View attachment 5675566
They will definitely let you return for “not as described” if they did not mention it. It will be pretty straightforward, but you may have to wait on hold to talk to CS. Sorry this happened to you!

Thank you so much. I just sent an email so I have something in writing and I may also call tomorrow afternoon if I dont hear back in the morning. It’s so frustrating, the Prune color is exactly what I was hoping it would be.

Oh and to contribute to this thread: I had a very good time at Collector‘s Square. Had an appointment at 11 and it was quite busy but the expert I was paired with was extremely nice, helpful and knowledgable. He showed me everything I was interested in and made a few suggestions too. One of them is my new to me B35. I first only bought a nice dark grey Fendi Peekaboo because I wanted to think about the B (and a nice exotic mini peekaboo) he said I should just walk around, gave me suggestions where to go (e.g. Bon Marché, the Sevres H Store etc) and held the paid for Fendi for me so I was free to shop  when I returned I was again paired with him and he had even held the two bags i was interested in for me. Which meant I paid for them and was out the door in 10min (I had to go to the airport so was very relieved it went so quickly)…

all in all a perfect experience for me, so I highly recommend collectors square to everyone who’s going o Paris (I can’t, however, recommend Catherine B tbh)
@MissTammyB , I’ve been to Paris many times and have not gone to CatherineB. I would be very interested to hear about your experience if you are so inclined to share. :)
