I would say it is normal, my Halzan actually has a really messy stamp and some imperfect stitches (when new, and purchased new). These two photos show the fraying I described. And the bag has been authenticated by bababebi so unless she made a mistake (which I highly doubt), is this considered normal for a new or like new H bag?

Thank you!!I would say it is normal, my Halzan actually has a really messy stamp and some imperfect stitches (when new, and purchased new).
I wish I could. I'm back in the States now and I don't have an Hermes store within 4 hours of me.Can you exchange the Seller Imaginaire for the Brides de Gala? If it is only a week old and unworn, you should be able to take it back to the store for store credit. At least that's how it works in the US, not sure about Europe.
I have a reseller I've bought from but never sold to. If you're interested, DM me and I can pass along her website. (Not an endorsement, though, because I have never consigned with her).I have been wondering about the best place to resell scarves also. I have some I just haven't used and it seems pointless to keep them even if I will sell for less than retail. I just have no idea where to consign them and I don't want to manage listings on my own.
SHOOT ME NOW, it's not on Hermes.com. It was just at the Zurich airport. SOB.Can you exchange the Seller Imaginaire for the Brides de Gala? I have a Jypsiere which is 100% authentic and that has a few slightly fraying stitches and even a broken stitch at the back it doesn't worry me and at some point when I get the bag spa'd I'll get the stitch fixed to be honest I think the fraying depends on what the strap was rubbing against when the bag was worn and i think its more noticeable on white stitching than dark (my bag is gold)Hi everyone, as I mentioned a few posts up I recently purchased a Halzan 25 from FASHIONPHILE, which was listed as New condition. The bag overall does look new, but I’ve noticed some mild fraying on some of the stitches especially the strap. The fraying is very very mild so you won’t be able to see unless you inspect up close under sunlight (I couldn’t even take a clear photo to show), but since I’m a newbie and this is my first H but pre-owned (though listed as brand new condition), I wonder if this is normal? It’s like some of the threads don’t have much wax on them? Or is FASHIONPHILE not being accurate or honest about their listing? I just don’t know what a “new” condition Hermes bag is supposed to look like regarding the threads…
Thanks, FASHIONPHILE listed the bag as brand new, that’s why I thought if it’s new and unworn then it wasn’t rubbing against anything just yet. So it sounds like perhaps this is normal for even brand new bags. I do have thread conditioning wax so I’ll try some and see if it helps. I don’t doubt its authenticity at all especially since bababebi has already authenticated it; I just wanted to make sure FASHIONPHILE wasn’t dishonest about its condition rating.I have a Jypsiere which is 100% authentic and that has a few slightly fraying stitches and even a broken stitch at the back it doesn't worry me and at some point when I get the bag spa'd I'll get the stitch fixed to be honest I think the fraying depends on what the strap was rubbing against when the bag was worn and i think its more noticeable on white stitching than dark (my bag is gold)
I wouldn't worry about it.
What about Julia Rose Boston? I have not worked with her directly, but have heard from people that she is very legit and sells things quickly and fairly. (Obviously, do your homework as I am not vouching for anyone on-line)Hi H sisters, I’m decided to offload one of my earlier B’s (to make space for new B/Ks). Any advice on options? I was thinking of one of the more “famous” reseller but I’m a little worried of people damaging the bag because of consignment.
Where are you located? This will allow better advice. Can you use a reseller who does not have a physical store so that your bags are not handled by customers prior to purchasing.Hi H sisters, I’m decided to offload one of my earlier B’s (to make space for new B/Ks).
