So pleased you managed to make it work and that it satisfactory concluded.

The basket itself dissappears for me if I didn't check out immediately.

I tried logged in as a guest in Chome, Safari and Firefox and logged in as a member too.

There's no title that works as prefix for my name (a problem because in most European countries we need titles on cards and docs). This meant the name on card does not match their transactions, which meant my transaction was denied twice, and I had to call CC people each time as the flag blocks all further use of the card. That was an afternoon I'll never get back.

And then the non-shipping option

As I said their French phone and WhatsApp didn't work for me. I'm glad for the one number that did work. But needing to call 4 times about the same issue seems excessive.

Oh I hadn't considered the prefix issue, might have been my issue too, they didn't offer Dr so I went with Mme or Ms, my bank then usually sends me a code via SMS, which I confirmed, so it went through and it was on my CC bill, however them simply not shipping and ignoring communications is a bit odd

I wrote to them this morning. I gave them everything (and more) than they've asked for.

I told ship immediately or refund in full within 3 days.

Haven't heard yet.

I'd still rather it go through, but I'd also be quite happy to have my money back at this point rather than carry on the dance.

Once companies have our money they never seem to be in such a hurry... to do anything.

I would say it might be a delivery problem if I hadn't had the same experience. I bought something from Italy, they shipped promptly and with UPS, however it seems to be not moving from Milan, UPS has the parcel, but no idea when it will be delivered, shows as "In transit" since the 7th and still in Milan

I am having a horrible time with Collector Square. Their website has driven me insane. They have my money and are still refusing to ship because there was no shipping option on the check out page, I could not even deselect the option to pick-up in person in Paris. I called them immediately after and was assured they would ship. That was weeks ago. I've contacted them multiple times and they are still playing games. It's been 3 weeks of trying, Monday they will have their last chance. No bag is worth this stress.
Any updates? Surprised to hear that about them, I always found them to be very professional with wonderful selection.
 
My experience with them was similar to papertiger's, they didn't send for 6 weeks, no communication, after another 4 weeks I did a charge back, and that was pre Covid
That is shocking! You waited 10 weeks? I wonder why they take so long to ship? They are legit with good selection and well priced items. It’s strange that they would dilly dally about shipping.

If you don't receive a shipping confirmation within 24 hours, quite frankly I would weigh the pros & the cons
about doing business with them further & just cut your losses while you are ahead of the game, JMO

They didn't ship for 6 weeks and ignored all emails where I asked if they would need anything additionally and if they could give me an estimate when they would ship, after that I suggested they send the funds back, again, silence, so I waited and checked with the bank, figured I gave them enough time and then did the charge back. I never gave it much thought and put it down as "odd one" until I saw the post of @papertiger but hadn't used them ever since, my order wasn't a massive one, it was something mom had lost, not thousands, a few hundred, but if they can't get that right, I have less trust in a bigger thing....

Atm I totally get it that things might take a bit longer, but there is a limit on how long... I am willing to stretch to a week

There are reasonably expected delays due to Covid as well as other issues that are not anticipated
However, communication is a courtesy as well as being professional
Papertiger has waited 3 weeks for a response & that for me would be more than a stretch for shipping
as well as any communication

As I said, 6 weeks in 2019 before I pulled the plug because I was fed up with waiting and I cut them a lot of slack as I know in August France is quite dead (everybody on vacation, a bit like country shuts down), I think it is simply how they operate. One of the reasons why I won't buy from them again.

I’ve bought from CS three times, including a purchase just a few weeks ago during the lockdown, and it’s been a good experience each time. Condition better than described and delivered quickly, well packed etc. I’ll be happy to order from the again.

I hate to be the one to say it, but, at this point, there are likely more counterfeits in the reseller market than genuine Hermès products. According to nothing but 1) the production statistics released by Hermès, and 2) the manufactured difficulty in obtaining prized products from Hermès, there just cannot not be so many genuine bags available for sale. Coupled with the fact that counterfeiters (and, unpopular opinion, the resellers who knowingly or unknowingly enable them) can stand to make four to five figures in pure profit, it becomes obvious that there are nefarious product offerings in the resale market.

At least this reseller has the—well, decency is certainly not the word—to plainly state the bags are not produced byHermès.
