So I came on here to write a review for the French hunter (Julian) I bought a B30 parchemin ostrich with PHW FOR 33k, I had been searching for this bag almost 6 months so when I found someone who had it I didn’t want to pass it up, however I couldn’t find any reviews online about him so I was skeptical to make such a large purchase. I took the gamble and bought the bag from him and he had it shipped same day and only took 2 days to get to me. I’m very pleased with my bag, The French Hunter and my over all experience. I hope anyone on the hunt for a rare Birkin reads this and finds comfort that they’re not getting scammed.

Hi, I have shopped via Julien‘s The French Hunter twice, once when he had a B25 noir ghw new online and once when I asked him to look for a piece for me, just recently being a kelly danse beige de Weimar ghw. The first time i was nervous. The second time I was confident, but still a little nervous, as these are expensive pieces and the transaction involves postage. Both times were impeccable, and I check his website more often than I should. I also work for a French Bank, I don’t know if this made me more confident but it made the fact that he is based in France not feel as foreign. In my experience he both knows his product, has a wide network and no question is too much trouble which I appreciate. If I want something specific and am happy to pay for it, he is my go to. Seeing your post just prompted me to post also.

I just saw some obvious fake scarves (check the pics of the tags!) on eBay, by seller charadelrey, an American seller.
For some unknown reason I am unable to report the items, so figured the least I could do was to post here.

Edit: if there is a different thread for these specific issues - please point me in the right direction, as this was all I could find when searching the forum! :confused1:

So sad to read about this but good that you were able to notice the difference. I sometimes forgot that not all people play fair :frown:

Tammy - I pulled up her scarves and am able to report them....the link is right above the description.
lmk which ones and I can report. I also have a direct email address that I report to as well.

When i click on the Report-button I just don't get any options to choose from, which means I can't get any further.

Thank you for the warning. Is there any way to report on the sellers website that this is a repeat fake? One can report the listing to eBay (there's a button on the listing that allows you to report it) that it is a counterfeit item. However I've done this several times, and eBay does not do...

She was able to source me another of the same (in better condition!) that I ended up getting instead. Deposit is paid via Paypal.

She knows all of the photos needed to be sent by Bababebi, and sends them timely. This was so easy, because I didn't have to go back and get more photos because she knows exactly what to send. Once you receive the green light on authentication, the remaining funds are paid via wire transfer. I was able to wire the funds to a US account, which was convenient for me.

Once the wire was received I got the bag in just two days time!! Super super fast!

I would absolutely deal with her again. For folks thinking she may not interpersonally be a fit, our communication was only over text. She is running a business and I thought her to be a good balance of business and friendly.

I know this post is a bit old now but I’ve been stalking Finklepuff’s Instagram and she has probably the best reseller stock I’ve seen and very reasonable prices. May I ask more about how the authentication process works with bababebi when purchasing from Finklepuff?

Also, did Finklepuff send you additional pictures of the bag you selected before paying? One thing that worries me is that she and other Insta resellers only post one picture and some of the bags are stated as “pre-loved” so seeing those corners and the hardware is important.

Yes, I was sent all the photos necessary for authentication before I made the purchase. I just needed to make a deposit in advance to hold the bag.
