Trusted Hermes Reseller Discussion Thread

Any recent purchases/ positive experiences with Rebag? I have read mixed reviews.
I have bought from them and have only positive things to say about the transactions. (Well, shipping could be faster, but that's just wishful thinking in this day and age.) I tried to sell something to them, but they declined due to the wear and tear. They periodically have 10% off the entire store. In fact, I think they are due for another 10% off sale.

The Birkin you might get well above retail depending on size, leather, color. The Jypsiere I don't think so.
I don't think this is verboten to discuss -commissions are public for the most part - - eBay will take the least commission and has a program specifically for luxury bags. However, Ann's Fabulous Finds and TheRealReal won't be that far off eBay's take, and you don't have to do all the work and stress out about eBay scams. Fashionphile will give you a quote - in my experience their offers are not great but with a new Birkin in box it is worth trying.
Take a look at the reseller thread as it includes seller experiences as well as buyer experiences. Good luck.

Thanks very much for the help :)

Good morning tPF!

Wanted to share my recent experience with the reseller Finklepuff in IG.

Overall - very smooth experience! Would work with her again in the future.

Once you see a bag you like, I will stress to you to make a deposit ASAP! She is a serious seller and no deposit, no bag will be reserved for you. I dragged my feet on this (nervous first timer!) and as such, the bag I wanted was sold to another person who made the deposit timely. My bad. She was able to source me another of the same (in better condition!) that I ended up getting instead. Deposit is paid via Paypal.

She knows all of the photos needed to be sent by Bababebi, and sends them timely. This was so easy, because I didn't have to go back and get more photos because she knows exactly what to send. Once you receive the green light on authentication, the remaining funds are paid via wire transfer. I was able to wire the funds to a US account, which was convenient for me.

Once the wire was received I got the bag in just two days time!! Super super fast!

I would absolutely deal with her again. For folks thinking she may not interpersonally be a fit, our communication was only over text. She is running a business and I thought her to be a good balance of business and friendly.
Hi! Where are you located may I ask? I’m a nervous first time buyer as well and Finklepuff has some nice bags but it’s definetly scary considering I’m located in the US. Thanks in advance!

I am so happy to hear that you had such a great experience! Hermes greens are stunning. I got the notification that VC received my bag for verification. I'll share how it goes here as well once I receive the bolide!

Slight update. I still love the bag, but I found the previous owner's initials were silver/heat stamped in the interior. Quite shocking that this was not disclosed by the reseller (neither in the description nor photos) AND that Vestiaire Collective did not report it to me before sending the bag.

When I wrote to VC support within the 72 hours of reporting issues, they offered me free shipping on my next purchase. An insulting "solution", really.

It just makes me worry that they can miss something so obvious (or see the modification to the bag and hope that the buyer doesn't).

Has anyone purchased from Saclab? On IG they are @saclab_official, and on eBay they are saclab-official. They seem to have some great products at good prices but not many reviews - only one mention on TPF that I could find in the Authenticate this Chanel thread (and the bag was authentic).

Oh no! I still have not received my bag yet, it is due to arrive on Monday. That is so surprising they didn't catch a hot stamp. And only to include free shipping on the next order... I'm glad you love the bag regardless. I saw your reveal photos and it is so beautiful.

Aw thanks!

Yesterday VC wrote to say I would be allowed to return it. I don’t want to return it and I had already told them that. Was just hoping for some kind a resolution that would make me feel better about the error and that would make me not hesitate to buy again.

Luckily you can’t see the initials unless you lift the flap out of the bag and all the way up. And, hey, the initials do match the name on the receipt and add some character. :)

It does add character! :) I’m glad you still love it. I just received my bag! It was packaged properly and came very fast once they authenticated it. The bad parts: the previous owner loved perfume, and the handles were sticky. Neither were disclosed by the original seller. Since the price was great, (70% off retail), and I was able to remove the stickiness with a damp cloth, AND I love the bag, I decided to keep the bag. I don’t think I will be purchasing from VC again though unless it is a holy grail/hard to find item. I’ve had much better experiences with Fashionphile and Yoogi’s closet. Now I’m spending some quality time with this bag outdoors to air out the perfume. :biggrin:9859EAF4-C3F1-4817-869D-F99EEF250BA1.jpeg

Congratulations! It’s beautiful (of course I’m biased as I have the same bag), but 70% off retail is unreal! Definitely a keeper. I am shocked there was no mention of smell, but at least it is perfume. There are lots of things to try to get the smell neutralized.

And totally agree about VC... I love my bag but it would take a something special for me to overlook what VC did. I only went with VC this time because I am in the EU and didn’t want to deal with customs.

Enjoy! I am going out to eat right now and taking my Bolide.

Yes, I have several times. Very pleasant experience and all bags I purchased were authentic (checked by Bababebi). Returns are easy and since they are located in my city, I got to know the owner (no, not connected with them by any means). Their prices especially on older H bags seem very fair compared to other resellers in Germany and Europe. Just purchased a Bleu Marine Gulliver Kelly 28 and they will bring it to my house tomorrow.
