I’ve purchased a number is SLGs and H scarves over the years, along with a few pieces of designer clothing. I’ve been satisfied with all purchases except one - a Chanel jacket I paid several thousand for. Condition was suppose to be like new Howe we on arrival there was an actual hole next to a button. It was impossible to miss. I returned the jacket the next day and waited months for a refund. I was told over and over that they were processing the refund and it wasn’t until I got “harsh” and demanding that I finally received it. It turned me off to TRR completely. A return policy is all well and good as long as it is honored.

That’s interesting. I purchased and consigned with TRR and have been pleased with both experiences. I had to return 2 items - one was a coat where someone drew on the pocket and the other was a Chanel jacket that didn’t fit. Both times I got my refund promptly. The second return was during the first few months of COVID (April) so I was shocked that I received my money back the day they received it.

I have purchased and sold with TRR. Selling with them is way easier than a typical Consignment store or EBay. I have generally had good luck with purchases. However I did get a Hermes belt that I thought was fake and called them tell them and sent it back with notes about my concerns. They relisted it immediately. Interestingly it resold quickly and then was returned again. I want to believe that they do have “expert” authenticators and I have no doubt about the authenticity of the less popular Hermès items I have purchased that are less likely to be faked. But make sure you give items like belts a very very thorough look before you accept it.

Any Canadians have some insight on the best way to sell a bag (Kelly)? The concern at the moment is the speed and reliability of getting things to US based resellers. I’ve only sold one bag once through a Canadian reseller (Haute Classics) and it was not a pleasant selling experience that I wish to repeat.
I don’t have any seller feedback on eBay, so that’s not really an option (I’ve only ever purchased).

Lolakitten, I’m not Canadian, but out of curiosity, I just typed in Canadian reseller, and one of them is Love That Bag. . . I seem to recall there was a love that bag on malleries. But, I think there was a thread or post that mentioned resellers in Vancouver. I’m not good at providing links within TPF, but if you do the search, other resellers might pop up

Please be aware that Love That Bag on Malleries and the Canadian seller of that name are NOT the same seller, and not related.

Hi mychildsmom. Hope you’re well? Please do you mind sharing your experience? Did you get authentication done prior to your purchase? Was it shipped to you overseas? Thank you in advance.
I didn’t get it authenticated bc I have friend who is very knowledgeable about Hermes bags and bought from him before. So I trusted that it is authentic. He shipped from Singapore. He wrapped it so carefully. I received it within 3-4 days.
