No I didn’t.. Cos the language barrier and overseas purchase is really a huge minus for me. I will stick to physical stores.

@TeochewLady Just tried to answer you. Was trying to reply to you but dunno why the quote/reply function wasn't working or I pressed something incorrectly.

@Daosabao, sorry for the delayed response. Saw your reply on missy_hermes. I do agree with you that she has got pretty nice stuff listed in IG. Safe bet still physical stores, i'm also a "old school shopper".

My previous post was deleted. As I said before, you should probably spread your positive review of working with the company, as information about them is scarce to nonexistent.
Also is the item 100% authentic Hermes item, or just 100%authentic luxury item, cause there's a difference. The language used for some of these resellers that are based on Instagram, legally is very vague and most likely would go in the sellers favor, shall an issue arise.
Just saying!
I totally agree with @Tplayer about TFH. They now states their address is TFH SAS, 231 rue Saint-Honoré, 75001 Paris. When I googled it (using google map with 3D view), it was a macaron/bakery store surrounded by some high-end fashion stores. I think they just tried to lure people thinking they are real French company.

my sister is on the hunt for a new noir birkin 25 on the resale market and i'm trying to help her find a reasonably priced one. whenever i browse on fashionphile or similarly janefinds, new black birkin 25s with gold hardware are always priced significantly higher than those with palladium hardware. is it because gold hardware is harder to come by in general so consignment shops factor in that premium? Just wondering what warrants the $3-4k markup/difference on a B25 w/gold hardware vs B25 w/palladium (and both marked as "new" condition)....
Hello,
Did your sister find her bag? If yes, can you please share the seller’s infos with me? I wish to get exactly same one too. TIA.

In light of what is going on in the world I’m wondering when the borderline insane prices on Fashionphile will begin to drop.

I also noticed something else about Fashionphile, they have bags listed as “New” but in the description it says scratches or light scuffs, that’s not new in my opinion.

I think they need to put in the disclaimer since there are many different kinds of expectations regarding to 'new'. There may be some unreasonable buyers that will use any excuse to return it just before they are having buyer's remorse. I've no issues with them before when they say 'new'.

It’s not a disclaimer there are actual flaws listed under the condition, which in my opinion precludes the bag from being listed as “new”. I personally think “new” means NO flaws.

Not getting into specifics, but I know a few of the very big resellers of new bags who sell at premium prices, who sell bags that are used, albeit gently but they sell them as new. The plastic on the hardware has been reapplied, they touch up corners and such on their own. It's been going on for years. And some of these resellers do not accept returns.

I’ve definitely seen reapplied plastic on hardware, it’s obvious. Also, a bag from three years ago that’s never been worn, I suppose it’s possible but I don’t always buy it.

This is 100% true and I've bought a bag in this situation. Fortunately I picked it up physically. Scratches under the plastic and a little "schmutz" way down in the pocket.
As much as AFF annoys me both as a buyer (horrible website) and seller (not great communication and get descriptions wrong), on the bag I consigned with them they called out every tiny flaw including one I had not seen.
"New" means new. It didn't leave its box, or, if it did, it was briefly tried on inside a home/store and then returned to the box.

One in particular out of NYC who brings the H bags to her local "shoe repair for touch ups"
as she doesn't want to wait for H to do the necessary spa trip as it takes too much time..

How do we define those items that were returned to Hermes stores for credit and being put back on shelves? Do we ever question them as 'new' or 'used'? as we know H stores have a 14 day refund policy for store credit, how can they guarantee that the first owner have not used it?

Not sure why you're quoting me or how it applies in this thread, but obviously there is no way to know. We have had members here open up not just bags, but SOs, where the plastic on the hardware has been removed, and clearly that question has been asked.
It would be perfectly possible for someone to purchase a bag, wear it out carefully for a couple weeks, and return for store credit. The store could re-shrinkwrap the box and you would never know. I think we are all aware of that.....now back to topic :)
