this was and has been my last few AFF experiences. VERY nice always but very slow to respond and selling takes FORVER with multiple prompts from me to drop price, market, return it, etc. they were always professional but you CANNOT be in a hurry for $$$. JMO

Yes about things not getting put up on site quickly but I think their business has really taken off since I first starting working with them when they had only been in business a few years. I get responses to my emails pretty much the same day, and rarely, the next. I buy from Yoogi's and Fashionphile but I only sell/Consign with AFF, I have had such a long relationship I just feel comfortable with them.

3D0601A9-AB45-4714-AA88-7279E14FE317.jpeg I buy from Finklepuff and she’s a joy to deal with. I’ve seen people say that she’s rude and I couldn’t disagree more.
I just got a bag in the mail from her today and it’s spectacular. She was very fair on the price & provided me with a Bababebi authentication. Even though it came as a full set w/ receipt.
Stephanie is just lovely.
This came today.

@papertiger and @Jbizzybeetle have asked that I make a post here about the prevalence of older designs of scarves now being faked and sold online after a comment I made on the SOTD thread. I l know that fake scarves have been around for a long time but it appears that the older designs - and ones which could generally have been trusted as genuine in the past - are now being printed too. I stumbled across a site yesterday which sells replicas of designs that must surely have a limited target customer base. It describes them as if they are pre-loved but the site only sells new replicas of everything - bags, scarves, SLGs, the lot.
My point is just to remind those who also love the older H designs to just be very cautious when buying. What we used to be able to take for being genuine and vintage may not actually be so. Going by the general availability of certain designs in immaculate condition and identical colourways on eBay it looks like they have now sneaked into the general marketplace too. Caveat emptor!

hello everyone I’m a new user and this is my very first post. Hopefully I can get some useful reviews on this. I’ve been eyeing a yellow hermes Picotin but it surely a hard-to-find since it’s a seasonal color, however I found one from sukilux.com and the price was just about the same as retail, here’s the link: https://www.sukilux.com/products/he...une-ambre-clemence-leather-palladium-hardware
I googled sulilux and see that they have a boutique in New York, everything seem fine but i just have that “too good to be true” feeling, mostly because I can’t find any reviews on sukilux...Has anyone bought from this website or their store in New York? Please let me know it will be greatly appreciated!

fyi: ebay seller im4sale0 just cancelled my bid and relisted immediately for BIN $400. He already had $400 as BIN, BUT apparently decided couldn’t wait the week to see bids hit or exceed. jerk. unfortunately jerk is not a listed reason for complaint filing.

Thank you for the update. Do you have an example of a design that is being used?:flowers:

I tried my luck at all three Vegas stores and no luck. Even if I wanted to make a purchase, there is nothing in stock. Seems like I am going to have to buy my way going through an H boutique and probably won’t even get the size/color I want. Small sizes in neutral colors usually go to vip clients with established history so it’s hard for newbies. I have looked at fashionphile, finklepuff, Vestiaire collective, tradesey, the real real and priveporter and am now looking at MadisonAveCouture and it seems like they sell new bags. But their mark up is twice the cost of retail. Has anyone every purchased from them before? These are the exact two color, hardware and size I’m interested in. If there are other cheaper resellers, I’m all ears!

Here is the existing thread discuss resellers, please do a search and post your reseller question here... https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/discuss-hermes-resale-ebay-sellers.643531/page-504#post-33345546

Basically they are charging almost twice but you can get just about anything in terms of size/leather/hw/color, brand new condition. If they don’t post on line they can still find you one. You are paying for convenient service. Good luck finding your dream bag.

The condition is pristine.
If condition is utmost this is a steep price. Your call, obviously..
The gold kelly might be an easier find on the secondary market but you will have to do a lot of due diligence
to find it from another reseller.
It's a shame how many resellers are pricing some H bags...
Have you looked at any of the auction houses? Christies, Heritage?

I have purchased and consigned with Madison Ave Couture. I had awesome experiences with both, hence why I keep going back. Judy is super helpful, patient and is awesome to work with.

Hermes has a much broader appeal lately so in order to get the specific bag you want you need to establish a relationship and be patient. If you want to walk in and buy a specific bag as a “new” customer chances are slim. So here are a few thoughts to consider when you see the markup: 1. The cost of the bag likely included sales tax, depending on where it was purchased this can be as high as 10%+ so this cost makes the starting point when the resale price is figured 2. The consinger (the person who has obtained the bag) has likely spent thousands (we are talking 10’s I’d not 100’s of thousands) of dollars with Hermes in order to obtain these amazing opportunities to get offered the bag/item The seller has established a reputable reputation/business which takes money. Therefore, the markup includes the funds that deserve to be paid for their work. 3. The markup could be equal to what you’d have to spend to build the relationship. 4. I mean in all honesty if you looking for an investment- go get a financial advisor you’ll make way more money;) 4.Life is short. If you have the funds and absolutely love the item go for and don’t look back. Sure, you may not get all your money back but what’s your happiness worth? (please don’t respond: you can’t buy happiness. To that I say you’ve never bought Hermes or diamonds)
