Sorry I missed the can of worms I opened up here! Good weather got me out into to the garden for a change this weekend.

I did actually do a little research in TPF on l*orange*cheval and found a few hits in the finds stickies (as picked up here) but not much else, hence my asking here.

Thanks, everyone (and I do mean everyone), your advice and opinions are much appreciated. I need a new bag like a hole in the head, but fortunately window shopping costs nothing.:D

Actually I enjoy a good lively frank exchange of views!

I guess it just looked as if I had butted out cos I wasn't around at the time to join in properly but I am certainly grateful that there are plenty of eBay and Hermès savvy people out there willing to safeguard the interests of the average buyer. I have bought quite a bit from eBay over the years and so far have not been burned but should probably quit while I am ahead - my next bag is on order from the A/W collection and I am on a ban until then - but as I said, I love to window shop.

Don't try to change my mind about this one because I believe this to be so 100% of the time.

Let this person buy from this seller. Hey, it's only $11,000 and change.

on another subject....has anyone had any experiences with ebay seller hermes **? I see she has some gorgeous bags like the danse and the crinoline kelly but prices seem a bit on the high side...any opinions on the seller about service etc? I assume they are authentic?

I just received a BEAUTIFUL vintage crocodile constance from a newer luxury website called BlingBlingSabaya.com The owner, Sabrina, was extremely nice, super accomodating and a great communicator. I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend her.

Do you know what country they're in? I can't figure out the currency and don't know how to convert to dollars. Thanks.

Hi Jadeite, I have actually purchased from her and I had a very pleasant experience. She was a great communicator, shipped quickly, no complaints on my end. You could really tell she was doing her best to delight.

Although I only purchased one item (CS Shawl), I will likely return again. I think she's relatively new but no complaints from me. Would definitely like to hear if anyone else has any experience...

She is in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, currency is UAE. You can just google currency converters and you can find calculators. I felt the exchange rate wasn't bad. Also she used fedex, shipped the bag on a Sunday night, and I had it Tuesday morning. She also takes paypal, so I felt secure.
