The photos were taken down after the auction ended because the seller did not want them copied. The fact that sellers leave 100% feedback does make them reputable sellers. The seller's descriptions couldn't be clearer, as in her present auction:

"I am always overly honest in my listings so there are no surprises when your bag is delivered! This bag has virtually no signs of wear. ALL photos in the auction are of the bag WITHOUT any stuffing in it, it is completely empty inside.

The four palladium feet still have stickers on them and all four corners have no wear or scratches on them. The front palladium hardware stickers have been removed but there is not ONE single mark or scratch on them. It looks like the stickers were removed and then the bag was never used. The interior is perfect, no chevre dents and it looks like nothing has ever even been placed inside of it.

All in all, it is tough to say if this bag has ever been carried judging especially from the hardware. Hardware ALWAYS gets tiny scratches in it once the bag is carried and this hardware is flawless."

Heatherlite, are you actually the seller; l*orange*cheval

You seem to know an awful lot about this sellers auctions, past and present and whilst it is commendable to defend any seller you have had a good transaction with, you seem determined, if not hell bent, on vocally overriding any advice/guidance and information which does not support your personal view.

As others have said, you had good transactions, that's great for you and your comments will have been noted by some members, I am sure .... however, other reputable and respectable members and moderators are recommending caution based on facts that would, with other auctions, send buyers running to the hills ...

Everyone is entitled to their opinion

The description of the condition of the bag has nothing to do with the authenticity of the bag.

You are relying on the sellers ability to discern if the bag is authentic or not. That is fine, it is your decision, and all we are pointing out here is that it is always a good idea to research your seller completely.

Mistikat, I only referred to her most recent auction. This seller has sold many new bags as well. In the last two weeks, she sold a brand new Rose Tyrien Birkin within a day for over $19k. Who would buy that quickly at that price point from a reseller who some deem to sell nonauthentic Hermes? Through these posts, I am trying to balance what I perceive to be unwarranted criticisms of a seller from whom I have bought several outstanding new and used Birkins. I hope you all understand my perspective.

Personally, I dont. Understand.

If you have had positive transactions with this or any seller, that is wonderful. We all are happy to have authentic bags in the hands of enthusiastic buyers.

But using, for example, the previous sale of this Rose Tyrien bag is not appropriate in this context. Actually, I did not see any pictures of the bag when the listing was "live."

This rose tyrien birkin was "sold" to someone who has a feedback of 6, selling uggs and who has listed at the moment a CDC that is, to my eye and that of others, not authentic in the least.

And, although you seem to have inside knowledge of the pictures being taken down to avoid photo theft, this is not usually the case with this seller. The pictures on her other listings are still up, for example. As far back as 90 days.

If you have purchased several Hermes bags from this seller, and the others you have mentioned, since acquiring your first orange togo 30 Birkin just prior to April spring of this year, then congratulations. Or was it May when you got an orange togo 30 bag authenticated and said it was to be your first ??

In any case, in the past 90 days (since May 14) the seller in question has sold $20330.98, of which 19,750 is the RT epsom birkin so you will I hope forgive me if there is confusing concerning recent ebay transactions of Hermes items, which are nonexistent, apparently other than the RT bag which is not pictured.

The seller has not sold another Hermes bag on Ebay in the past 90 days, which is not surprising considering how *horribly* wrong her transaction of April went, as I am assuming you well know since you posted her auctions in the Finds thread, calling her. .

and

I see that you did not ask to have any of her bags authenticated in the AT thread, even though you have had many, many other bags authenticated and were enthusiastic about the authentication process...

I do agree with your sentiment here...

Always, always use the Authentication process before you buy any Birkin item on ebay. The authenticators are awesome and have a third eye! You'll never have to look back and your back account will be the richer for it.

I see that you are comfortable enough to post her listings on the finds thread despite not having any of your several Hermes purchases from her authenticated. I wish I could find them to have another look, frankly. But, that is water under the bridge now, of course.

Many have purchased from her and have no reservations, others have reservations. I am sure you can understand that is something that can happen.

It is best to exercise caution in all purchases on ebay, as you yourself know, having had to file a claim in April. ETA: I see that transaction happened off Ebay, according to your post, but you were the buyer and filed a claim.

This is an outstanding reseller. Her communication is extremely responsive,
her prices very fair and her customer service beyond reproach.

I don't normally post in this section but wanted to state that I recently purchased a Hermes handbag from this seller and from start to finish the transaction was flawless. She had excellent communication and the item was accurately described.

On ebay? In the last 90 days?

I was told about the thread, I didn't find it on my own. Look I don't want to get in the middle of anything, I was simply posting about my positive experience with this seller. That's all.

The fact that I filed a claim is completely irrelevant to this discussion, as is the timing of my Hermes purchases. This is completely off topic. This conversation has saddened me. I leave it to others to continue if they so choose to.

No, I am not the seller. Only the buyer.

I beg to differ.
You yourself opened the the topic of your purchases by coming to this thread and speaking for a seller with whom you have an unverifiable history.

There is a negative inference when one says a seller has had 6 different user names on Ebay. This seller, from whom I have bought several handbags, has 100% positive feedback. I would suggest using Ebay feedback, where actual buyers make their educated comments.

Hermes bags?

Yes, Hermes Bags.

Yes, on Ebay. Just look at her completed listings.

I did. You shared with the PF that you got your first bag in the spring, and then you came to this thread and said that you have bought several HERMES bags from this seller l*orange*cheval, which would have to have been since you got your first bag.

We see only one bag sold, which you yourself pointed out to us....a listing of a Rose Tyrien birkin with no photos sold to a buyer with relatively no feedback....

The photos were taken down after the auction ended because the seller did not want them copied.

Amazing bit of trivia. And as to Private Auctions, there was still no feedback left by a buyer of multiple items.

It also begs the question of why you never had any of your l*orange*cheval bags authenticated, because you have had a lot of them authenticated, which is wise...including this one in Rose Tyrien.

Please authenticate and TIA:

ITEM:AUTH HERMES Veau Epsom Birkin 30 Bag RoseTyrien New

There are numerous reasons why a seller might change their name on Ebay.

Yes this is true.
It is very rare, as you can tell from our Recommended Sellers List, but it does happen.

Lets just be clear on what we are talking about here.
Ebay has kindly provided the information on seller history.

Lastly, as to your filing a claim...well...just pointing out that you have reason to be cautious; and yet, recommending a seller of luxury goods from a brand to which you are a relative newcomer and after purchasing several bags in the last several months that were not authenticated here...

...well that could be seen as ill advised.

I want to make sure anyone who reads this thread has the information with which to make an informed decision. Unfortunately we also have to consider the source of that information. That is what we do.

I am sorry you are sad.

This thread is for people to come and get HONEST evaluations of sellers, and use that information to make their purchase, or to pass.

If someone wants to post one of these bags in the AT and get feedback, great. you can also search the seller name and find that yes indeed there have been positive transactions.

I believe that anyone defending a seller so vehemently has some sort of connection. Why would a total stranger be on the defensive like this? There are so many wonderful resellers, why would anyone want to buy from someone who doesn't post necessary pictures?

Also, some sellers of bogus merchandise will have a friend bid on an item so it appears that someone has purchased from them, leaving them wonderful feedback for something that was not really sold.

And anyone who has changed their seller ID that many times has got something to hide. I've been selling on e-bay for 12 years and would never dream of changing my user ID. Why would I want to hide all the good feedback I've received? The only reason someone is changing ID is to hide previous feedback. Don't try to change my mind about this one because I believe this to be so 100% of the time.

Let this person buy from this seller. Hey, it's only $11,000 and change.
