Hello ladies, I wanna ask about the ebayer 88caviar, does she selling authentic hermes birkin bag? :cry:i'm a bit scare to buy a fake H bag. does anyone had the experience of purchase a hermes bag from her store? thx a lot!!!:D:D:D

Wanted a bag from janefinds, sent a few enquries, no reply, but the auction was ended early. Disappointing.

Had the same treatment from let-trade a couple of months ago too.

christymarie, either the bag already has a confirmed sale or there is something wrong with it. I had the authenticators look at the particular bag I wanted, they oked it. It was pre-owned and there were no pictures of the interior in the auction. I asked for more pictures. I was warned that there were previous cases where there were non-disclosures of the condition of the item. The next thing I know, the auction is gone. Oh well, I will think twice dealing with these resellers now. Caveat emptor. I hope the buyer knows what he/she is getting into. For me, I will take it as saving some money. :p

About the customer service, I do feel bad being ignored. How about a courtesy note saying that the bag has been sold, etc etc, rather than leaving a potential customer with a bad impression of how you work?

Anyway, the reputable list is there to let people know that these sellers sell authentic bags. It does not necessary mean that these resellers are great to work with. Also, we as customers will still have to do our own due diligence on each and every auction.

I have purchased from some of these sellers after making them offers off e-bay and buying a purse outside of the e-bay forum. I have found after negotiating a price that they usually don't take the auction right down. There were times I'd actually already paid for the item and it was still a live listing. They are sometimes slow at taking down a listing which is not great on their part.

Point is they probably had a buyer for the bag and just didn't bother getting back to you because of that. I personally would answer every single e-mail but not everyone is so diligent.

Hello! I understand your bag was shipped from Italy?? What was the process with US Customs like and the duties tax they place on the bag?

Also what was the duty rate??
