I am relatively new to Hermes. Kaz from Sandiaexchange is a terrific ebay seller. The 35 cm black Ardennes Kelly with gold hardware and the 32 cm rouge H box Kelly with silver hardware I recently purchased from her went smoothly and the purses are amazing!

I bought the same exact 35 Kelly you did from Kaz same color, leather, and year back in April of last year, I love this bag!

Beachtime, Thanks for sharing about your beautiful purse--am loving the smell, the sheen, and the look! Has your Ardennes been wear and weather resistant?
Usually I am very careful with my H bags but this one I do not baby so far so good. I use her about once a month for almost a year now and she still looks new considering she is 11 years old.

Hi,

Does anyone have an email address for ysaito? I am trying to contact him through ebay about an item, but ebay will not allow me to send an inquiry.

Thank you,

BB40

Hi,

Unfortunately, I doubt anyone can pass this information to you. It might be best to try and contact him again through ebay, or alternatively you could contact ebay and see what's going on.

I sent him an email through eBay a couple of days ago and he answered immediately. Try again.

Please read the above mentioned thread to the end. I am the Ebay seller and I used an uncopyrighted unwatermarked photo that came up on a Google search under the search term "Lindy" that I had every reason to believe was public domain. The photo was taken so perfectly that I thought it came from a Hermes advertisement. I used it as the cover photo for my listing (as many people on Ebay use photos from advertisements) to sell the same color Lindy, and other than that one photo I used all my own photos. I am an honest seller of only authentic items and not the "thief" or "scammer" the op has called me.

I do not want to unnecessarily prolong a sensitive discussion. Most of the personal matters can be taken to PM and dealt with between the members, and the policy matters can be handles by eBay. I do want to jump in to make a comment about eBay image rules, and to underscore why they are so critical to our consumer safety as online Hermes shoppers.

eBay has three categories for images--allowed, restricted, and prohibited.

Allowed are pictures the seller takes themselves, or images from eBay's own product catalog. In the latter case the original merchants are aware of the images and have the power to opt out of this program.

Under the restricted category are stock photos and text. In this case the seller is only allowed to use any of these images if authorized to do so by the owner or the owner's agent or the law.

Under the prohibited category are all photos (and text) from other eBay users, photos and text copied from any other website, and scans from catalogs and ads.

There are a number of reasons for these rules, all of them good. First, eBay sets rules in order to keep its site and its sellers in compliance with copyright laws.

Another huge reason has to do with the control of accuracy in listings and with the protection of their buyers.

Because of this it is critical that, unless a seller makes it very clear or unless it is inherently clear that an image is not of the exact item being sold, that all images be only of the exact item for sale.

People go over images of Hermes bags with microscopes looking for every nuance in the leather, for signs of wear, for clues as to authenticity, and for comfort with overall condition. Hermes bags are handmade, and each is unique. It is critical that images be of the bag for sale, and only the bag for sale. Anything less is not acceptable, according to eBay rules and, of course, in the spirit of consumer protection.

We have all seen images of celebs carrying their bags in these ads. I cannot talk about this according to eBay policy--but I can say that in these cases it is clear that these are not the bags for sale. I do feel at times that these images distract from or clutter a listing...but they are not represented as the bag for sale.

Thanks for bearing with me. I know eBay has a lot of rules, but following them is the responsibility of the sellers.
