Just saw this posting and I was VERY surprised to hear about your experience. I purchased an Hermes Birkin from Get Styled by Lulu recently, and I was thrilled with the bag. It was exactly as described and just gorgeous- The seller was very amenable, and I found the whole process to be great.
It's definitely a leap of faith to purchase such an expensive bag online without seeing it in person, but to me, getting upset over her charging you a $25 relisting fee (which is clearly stated in the terms) is a little ridiculous. The seller has to pay for shipping and has to take the time as well. Also, it said that there is superficial scratches, that seems clear to me as well. To go on a slanderous spree over $25 is a bit much.
I was thrilled with my experience and I'll definitely buy from them again.
Looks like I am late to the party!!
My "slanderous spree" as you call it has to do with the fact that the bag was disgusting, dirty, used and nothing as described. The fact that she charged me a $25 restocking fee on something that was returned because of her own fault was just a side note. I have a successful Ebay business and if I ever blatantly misrepresented a bag, I would NEVER expect the buyer to be responsible for something that was my fault. I had to pay to ship the thing back.....not cheap with insurance, etc. It is called good business practice and clearly this seller does not know what that is.

Also, the listing did NOT say the bag had superficial scratches. She changed it when I returned it. It originally said BRAND NEW IN BOX, NEVER CARRIED. I also called her and emailed her telling her that I was very H savvy and I would know if the bag was not brand new. I specified it was for a Christmas gift and she still insisted it was brand new, never carried. For a Fjord Bbag to look THAT used, it was carried a LOT. Fjord is very hardy and is not prone to scratches, rubs, etc. like box leather. It also had a stain and weird residue from a spill of some kind on it.

Additionally, I know that this seller has a couple of employees that used to post on here about how great the site/store is. I am about 99.9% sure that you, being a "new" poster works for this organization/seller. Right before I bought this bag, there was a poster that worked for the company and was squashed by the mods because of promoting and advertising on tPF

ETA:
When it comes to $10k BBags, there is only two categories:
Brand New in Box
Used

If the bag was used even ONCE, that means it is used, not BNIB. Even if it still looks new (which this one certainly looked nothing close) it must be stated as something such as, "Mint condition with no signs of use" or something similar........I mean, just be HONEST.

Or, "carried a handful of times, mint condition with the exception of slight corner rubbing."

Not that difficult. These people are either blind themselves or they think they can command a higher price on a BNIB bag and just hope that the buyer does not notice. It is the seller's duty to inspect every square inch of the bag and describe every detail on a Bbag.

This seller actually DID admit to me (after I received the bag and was livid) that her client that owned the bag had used it and told the seller it was new initially. So, the seller apparently believes what people tell her and lists it as such. She obviously never looked at it and even when I sent her an itemized list of all the flaws, she still lists it as NEW. Unbelievable.

I see several listings for designer bags and in the heading they mention BNIB/BNWT. When you click on the item it says pre-owned under the description. Almost like a tease. Other then FAKES...this pisses me off the most! It's either brand new or used.............
Don't waste my time!!!

I am relatively new to Hermes. Kaz from Sandiaexchange is a terrific ebay seller. The 35 cm black Ardennes Kelly with gold hardware and the 32 cm rouge H box Kelly with silver hardware I recently purchased from her went smoothly and the purses are amazing!

I agree with Koni. Whatever the overall history of good or bad experiences with a seller, it is fair and pertinent for a member here to be able to discuss an experience.

In a case like this it would be interesting to hear from the seller. I notice that both of the pro-lulu posters are making their very first posts here. It is unusual for two people to appear so quickly, and for the first time, to defend someone. While I appreciate the chance to hear from everyone, and while I welcome new posters, it would be helpful to hear from others.

It would be nice to hear from the seller, of course.

agree here as well... a little too "obvious" for my liking that 2

new people promptly posted on the forum their experiences....

the seller should be given an opportunity to "defend" not only

the description but her policies as well for those that are not

familiar with doing business with this company

^agree here as well.... pristine.. what exactly does that mean to everyone??

i think that there is always room for interpretation as well, much depends on the assessor and the assessee...........for example:i have occasionally bought bags from the boutique with little marks here and there. many times these handmade bags have minor evidence of being handled. people less focused on Hermes and more on general designer goods in may have broader tolerance for minor wear than Hermes focused buyers and sellers. so one person's "pristine" may be another person's gently worn and so on. additionally some people are never pleased. it can be a tough situation
