I ordered the Kate crop from Saks. They are essentially the Johnny style but shorter. The size 27's (my normal TR size) fit loose on me. My TR Julie style fit snug (very snug!).
I could have exchanged the Kate for a smaller size, but I found the leg a bit too wide below the knee for my taste. I like my cropped jeans to be either tight and narrow or gaucho style. I am not crazy about the in-between styles.
