Unfortunately, I haven't been able to visit the new boutique. The photos on tpf of the opening looked amazing though! Manhasset is maybe 5 hours away from me, so I doubt I'll be a regular there, which is kind of a shame because the SA's are so great.

So it turns out that the SA I first met with left the store a while ago and didn't pass my details on! Since then I have a new SA and he's been amazing, found my bracelets and transferred them in for me to try on and actually calls and responds to all my messages very promptly. [emoji4][emoji4][emoji4]

Just to update everyone. I haven't bothered to go back to the Chicago shop, but have visited shops in other cities and give all "5 stars". I'll stop in at Chicago again the next time I'm in the neighborhood and see how things go. I'm hopeful that maybe it was just a temporary glitch. Hoping for an orange box from Santa! In the meantime, happy holidays to all.

friendly service all around but busy at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.

unfriendly and inattentive service at Crystals in Vegas.

unfriendly but super busy at Rodeo Drive's bags and scarf sections. SA's in shoes was better. the most helpful was the SA in home goods (Helene or something like that).

So sorry to hear about your BH experience, I had excellent service at the store in every department, including scarves, this past year. :hugs:

I just went to the Hoofstrat store in Amsterdam and had the most friendly service I have had at any Hermes boutique. They were super friendly, patient and helpful. I think they were happy to see someone who actually was interested in the brand. I wasn't really looking for anything but came home with a bracelet and a tie for Hubby.

I'm sorry about your shop visits. It should be fun shopping luxury goods. I received very nice help at BH store in October. There were not many customers and at each section someone greeted me and asked if they could be of assistance. The guy at the jewellery section gave me nice compliments on my K and we small talked.

Me as well, I adore BH and am always surprised how courteous they are for a maison store in that area. But I have seen some of the SAs be rude at very busy times. And there are one or two absolute horrors.

In the Hermes boutique in the Bijenkorf in Amsterdam they are lovely as well. So patient (necessary with me!;-))
