Er- what?

If you're referring to the word "*****y", that I used in reference to MYSELF, and "hell", I hope you don't watch network television because much worse is said on there......

That said, I really don't have to justify myself to a newb who knows NOTHING about what goes on here.

There's an "ignore" button you can use so you don't have to read my foul and rude posts.

Cheers!
Here's the post she's referring to. It's from the Authenticate4u thread.

Seriously? What am I "assuming"? I have helped in the ATLV for years, so yes, I can tell you that about 1% of people supply a complete set of clear, close photos, which also applies to ebay and/or other resale site listings. And the follow up to requests for better photos is dismal. So I believe I can speak with some authority, with no "assumptions". EDITED TO ADD: and the problem is getting worse, with people thinking that their damn phone is a proper camera. It's not. Superfakes are flooding the secondary market across ALL brands and it is imperative that we get the right photos. Hell - we have a whole page in the ATLV devoted to the rules of the thread and 99.999% of people don't bother to read it, and if we're REALLY lucky, get pissy with us when we direct them to said rules.

I CLEARLY said I was NOT defending their lack of communication, what part didn't you understand? I happen to agree, it is a problem that needs fixed and I thought my stance on that was clear. I know we aren't talking about the ATLV, but my point is if there is a backlog, I can see how even a business with paying customers would tend to those who can follow directions first. Again - YES, the communication should be better. But you said I was "assuming", so I am making a GUESS as to how it MIGHT be. If that is "assuming" to you, LOL then ok. Also - in regards to your " unless you are working for Lesley" comment, READ my post again - I have used both them and Enticeler before....Both of them for my first Chanel (yes I am paranoid and it was a big purchase for me) and A4U for the occasion high end clothing item, back when I sold on eBay.

I thought someone said she is putting things in place as far as other site administrators who can cover for her in the event of absence. I'm not sure where they are on that. But make no mistake, I am agreeing with you that the communication absolutely needs to be better. SMH

My reply that she quoted wasn't even in this thread now....

PS: It's too early and I've had too little coffee for this backtracking...

PPS Edit Note: This topic is way too charged for anyone to just pop in, make random inflammatory comments, misquote people then slink away.

I agree with MissBanff: you don't like the tone of our posts, add us to your ignore list. Then again, Miss Debbie97439, perhaps it is thee that might consider exiting stage left?...

I also think she's mad because I said carol and ****************** were horrible authenticators. LOL ok then.

And yeah, I was mad when I wrote that original post, I was being hassled by someone who has never authenticated a thing and knows NOTHING about the process.

Can't be mad at someone for telling the truth. ;)

CarolDiva & ***************** ARE horrible authentication services. I've see so many fakes that both these services deigned were authentic it's ridiculous. And they take get paid for that?... Frankly, that's what ticks me off! Yes, yes, I know: Off Topic...

Yeah, I've seen a few people get their fur in a fluff over stating that Carol
or ****************** are NOT reputable.

I don't understand this misplaced passion to defend poor authenticators who have
made numerous mistakes.

Just because somebody charges for a service, does NOT make them GOOD at that
service.
This is true of any business.

That's probably because they are either somewhat affiliated with them or they are the sellers.

I think I get it now.......I went back and read some of her posts, since there are so few of them....she posted something in the ATLV for authentication, didn't bother reading page 1, and posted incorrectly. Since a lot of this thread is directed at people who can't go through the trouble of reading the rules for authentication and or even look at other posts in the AT to recognize the proper format, I don't think she ever got an answer. She was even asked, twice, by a helper in the ATLV to post in the correct format. I had NO contact with her in any exchange in the AT, but for some reason she's pissed at me.

Your language is unbelievable. How is it you feel it is okay to be rude and use foul language in a forum where people are simply trying to get information. Why is it that your posts are so full of anger? If you are unhappy with the PF or it's users, perhaps you should stay off of it. This is directed to MissBanff.

Wow..... just wow......
This post itself shows clearly what the authenticators are facing at the AT forums. The authenticators are helping people and all they got is this kind of ungrateful making up post? Seriously?

I saw many fake sellers signed up for the forum to defend themselves at the AT forums and made a lot of fuss. I thought this post had the same kind of mentality like them. If I'm treated like this, I wouldn't keep my cool.

Ugh. Reading this thread is sending my blood pressure up. So you aren't allowed to respond when you get a NastyGram? And there's a points system if you're considered to be naughty?? Seriously? I have been reading through several of the AT threads and IMO our authenticators have the patience of saints. Time and again, over and over, having to ask posters to use the required format, having to put up with sometimes snarky and often rude and entitled people...I am amazed any of you are still here. You deserve a huge THANK YOU, authenticators!!

I totally agree with you about the patience of saints. Even if I have the same level of their expertise, I don't think I have enough patience to take all kinds of nasty things at the AT forums. To see ugly fakes itself is quite painful. In addition to it, they have to deal with members' not very nice attitude. I really respect their strength and patience. I really hope things will get better for them. You deserve a huge THANK YOU, authenticators!!

In general, I would agree, but, in this case, I think it is just misguided loyalty...

I understand when somebody likes a certain business and wants to defend them,
BUT.... This is NOT a service that is built on ... "Oh, I like this person.. I shall defend their business"
It is not a matter of NOT liking the Businesses personally, it is a matter
of those businesses making HUGE mistakes that cost people
$1,000's of dollars... so, I think this kind of blind defense,
is VERY misguided.

These opinions are NOT personal... these opinions that ****************** and Carol Diva are NOT good authenticators comes from MANY people who
authenticate, who are EXPERTS, and from ebay forum, where people have been duped by those opinions.

You're got to be kidding me. I've never seen MissBanff using "unbelievable" or "foul language" toward other members.

I find it suspect that you'd join this thread, with only 39 posts no less, to bash a long term member who has been very helpful to others, for years.

Hmm... Not sure what happened there. I was quoting and replying to MissBanff. I've added the comment from MissBanff that I had quoted in red.

What she was referring to originally is that when we get what's being called the NastyGram (I'll take credit for the word, because that's what I call it), it's sent to our Private Message boxes from the user ID "Purse Forum" instead of it being from a specific mod/admin. It's a written slap on the knuckles from one of the mods/admins about [whatever] that involves the "make nice" comments along with the "points" against us. We're never allowed to respond: The Purse Forum user ID is set up so that it doesn't accept replies.... Isn't that just precious?... :tender:

And yet another edit: I just backtracked this and for whatever reason, when I quoted MissBanff it's showing that you had made that comment. What on EARTH is with the quoting function around here??? No wonder I've got a headache!

What?

From my perspective, the AT threads and their authenticators play a significant role in the PF's success. I'm curious as to why such a thing ("Nastygram") would exist for authenticators. I do read over the various AT threads from time to time and it would seem that some of the members (requesting authentications) should be given a slap on the wrist, not the authenticators.

On a side note, "points"?
