It's doubtful that a custom strap will match the color and grain of your $2700+ bag. I'd exchange it for what you want. Shipping will probably be similar to the cost and hassle of trying to get a custom strap you like. Also, you say you received the wrong item. Shouldn't the seller pay for the exchange shipping?
Hi Nszzya, because this bag doesn't ship to Australia, I had it shipped to a US forwarding service. They argued that they were only going to pay for the shipping within the US. After much negotiation, Bergdorf have agreed to pay for shipping it back to them.

I wish Tom Ford was more available in the UK. I think he's just opened a store in London last year but hard to find if your not in the capital. He is a little pricey though !!!

I suppose it's the original - they named it the Jennifer a few seasons later. It has smooth leather and a super long adjustable leather strap that cannot be detached.
Oh goodness I'm so slow at this. I got this Anya Hindmarch bag late last year (in red)--I think it's called the Maxi Zip. Got it for 975. Someone randomly made a comment on the street that it looks like Tom Ford. I never thought of researching. LOL.

does anyone know if the gold hardware on tom ford bags ever tarnishes or looks really dull ? the padlock on my mums speedy bag has. sorry for all the questions i love this brand but like to do my homework on it before buying
I've been using my Jennifer crossbody bag for 2 months non stop and haven't had any tarnishing
It does not tarnish. All Tom Ford hardware is solid brass dipped in 24 carat gold, except for the Turn Lock bags which are aluminum dipped in 24 carat gold. There will be no tarnishing.
