Sorry didn't know Tods now have its authentication thread but glad tpf has one..Bought a Tods but not the one above as it had a bit more wear while the one I just bought is pristine

Just got my Tods bag yesterday and promptly took her out to dinner at a friend's. It's not a new design, I think maybe early 90's? Maybe another tpf'er who's got more experience can tell me
BUT...I love love love love love her!!
She's preloved but really pristine, minimal marks if any. I'm not even sure if the previous owner use it much. It even came with optional shoulder strap (though I think I won't use it as it detracts from the classic lines), sleeper bag and authentication card.
Got it for less than $250 including next day shipping so I think I did well there
Even if she costs more than $400 I'd still think it's a bargain as she is in such good condition.
I also posted her with her other friend, Tokyo Hermes twilly

Am planning to buy a Tod's (incredible quality and design), but I'm not certain which styles might be best to consider. Looking for a fairly large bagat least 15" widew/a shoulder drop of at least 7", preferably longer. Need something that fits very comfortably on the shoulder. I would like to have exterior pocket(s) and/or zipper compartment(s). I need a large bag to use every day.
I've spent a considerable amount of time researchingincluding reading all the posts in this thread (and the other Tod's thread)but just when I think I have a handle (no pun intended) on style names, something new gets thrown into the works. So many of the style names are so similar that I'm becoming more confused. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

if you love outer pockets and long shoulder straps then get the pashmy. it's one of the styles which have a lot of alternatives. from totes to messengers to adjustable straps to (very chic) diaper bag. It also comes in the cheaper but durable nylon and sumptuous leather (which i have)

I actually did the research thing too and when i walked into the store there it was! It took me a day to decide. holds a ton for such a minuscule bag
it's not very light but it's not heavy either. So i guess the nylon version is lighter.

I've seen many style names that include Pashmy, for example: Pashmy Media Tote, Pashmy Bauletto Media, Pashmy Media D-Bag, Pashmy Luna Media, Pashmy Sacca Hobo Media, Pashmy Due Mancini Tote Media, and others. Which Pashmy would be the largest with a long handle drop?

you really have to go to the store or if you don't have one go to eluxury.com. they have all the specks including the shoulder drop of the bag.

That's amazing! Had no idea TJMAXX would get Tod's in stock. What style was it? Do you remember the price?
