After purchasing my first two Tod's bags within a month, I love the quality. But I guess I have to admit that function is winning over form. The Miky, which I thought rather plain at first, is much more functional than the new Peggy which most people, I think, would prefer looks-wise. It goes to show that no matter how much experience you have with different bags, you don't really know how functional a bag will be until you use it. Peggy has a center zipper compartment that divides the bag. I thought this would be helpful with organization but actually what it does is create two rather tight compartments. Miky with the outside pockets is so easy to use. Oh well, I'll use both and sometime in the future maybe I'll get another Miky or similar style. Love Tod's quality!

Wow, that color is just divine!
I recently sold one of my Nomade totes, great bag! I love my Mikys! Have it in so many colors and I love them!!!:heart::heart::heart:
The Rodeo is my favorite, I find the leather in that style the softest for some reason.

Thanks Isabel! I meant to post both the pic of orange miky and the link to Peggy but the link didn't work. It is posted on my post #155 though. What do you think of Peggy?

Hi, i have a Tod's shopper / tote that needs cleaning but is otherwise great - I don't remember the style name. It is a creamy color with a hint of pink in it, gold studs, and I have the storage bag. It has linen and leather lining. It is approx. 16" by 11" wide. Any info would be appreciated. I think I paid about $1200 for it 4 years ago. If I sell it, what would a fair price be today? I couldn't find any similar bags on ebay. Thanks!

uh oh, one small question here.... sometimes i put my laptop (teeny tiny 12 inch hp) inside my bag (it's a media corniche). it feels ok. but am worried... it WONT ruin the bag, except some minor sagging, right? the handle wont be broken or something, right?

I like the 'look' of the Peggy, esp. the hardware, but when i tried her on, I found the hardware somewhat impractical and heavy. I also did not like that it doesn't 'sit' up, lol! I get so many compliments on a daily basis on my Orange Miky!

The Peggy is beautiful; just not as practical as the Miky as you pointed out.

Hi, Did you buy this at the outlet 4 yrs ago? This is an older style from the late 90's. I don't know the name for this style. I have seen similar bags go for about 200 to 300 on ebay. I wouldn't list it until the Spring when white will sell quicker and for more money.

I think I have the same laptop! nc2000? I actually replaced it in Dec with a 2510 (a bit bigger). TODS handbags are very sturdy and that laptop is so light! I think you are fine. I tried carrying my laptop in the pashmy d bag and got a bit worried b/c they are nylon and the handles where really pulling:wtf:. The leather is a different story.

My Peggy does sit up. It's the medium size...maybe the one you saw was the small? Weight doesn't seem to be an issue so far. I think it's mainly the outside pockets on the Miky are so much easier to access and it's softer and a bit more comfortable to carry.
I haven't seen a Rodeo...hopefully I'll see one someday at the outlet store. The only other place I've seen Tod's bags is NM and they only have the nylon ones now.

I tried the large Peggy on, it was big, I like big! I did like the soft leather on it :drool:.
Here is a picture of the Rodeo stuffed, it is very mushy when not stuffed.

Comes in many colors, Brown, Orange, White, Red, Black, & Tan that I have seen, there maybe more. It is an older style, available at the outlet sometimes. They come up on eBay every so often, just beware of excess wear on the corners.

It measures:
L 15 x H 8 x W 6

Thanks so much for the information! I'll be at a Tod's outlet next month, so I'll keep on an eye for this bag...A nice chocolate brown or tan would be very tempting.

Although this leather looks very durable, my one concern - how much and how quickly do the corners wear (as you mentioned in your previous post)?
