To Twilly or not to Twilly?

120% twillies for me and my bags. I use them to coordinate with my outfit - so yes I might change my twilly daily and yes I travel with 5 twillies. First I have sweaty hands and second I use a lot of hand lotion. Those handles need protection from me!
I'm a naked bag girl all the way, but that being said, twillies brought me to my wonderful SA, so I'm always grateful ( I wear them on my neck or as a tie in the summer).
But here's a story- one of my cats gave a lovely bite to the handle of my BF Kelly ( when basically brand new of course). Well, I'm all "cover with twilly v. replace handle v. just shoot myself" Coincidently, I was going to Madison to drop off my peau porc for spa and figured I'll wear the Kelly and show it them, get their opinion, etc. Two artisans ( separately) said "Live with it!! It's a gorgeous bag and enjoy!" Which I have ever since!( and tried a twilly or 2 on it anyway, took one look, knew it was lovely but just not ME, so here I am!)
It really IS what ever works for you.

I will be acquiring my first Birkin soon as a grad gift to myself (completed doctorate degree). It's a Birkin 30 Etoupe GHW. I want to grab a Twilly or two as well. What colors go good with Etoupe. Can I see your Twillys/Birkin in action!? What is your preference, both handles or one? I am leaning towards something with dark blues and tans. Blue is my favorite color. Well one of them.

I quite like them on a bigger bag (B35, K35, K32) especially in the summer. I used to use them occasionally on my noir B35, they added a little colour and stopped the handles sticking to my arm when the weather was hot.
For some reason on my B30 they just look too girly, so it's currently a no for me.

I'm trying not to say too much (or I'll get told off for being off topic), but yes, he loves having his photo taken, we've been together 27 years (since he was a baby) and I love him very much.. however it's rather like having a very loud and demanding 2 year old that only really wants you, for 27 years and counting.. he may look cute, but I wouldn't recommend!He is so handsome!!!
