When we bought our wedding bands, our SA gave us complimentary engraving for adding our initials. When my husband decided later that he wanted to add the date of our wedding, I think we were charged a small fee.

I can confirm this. I just dropped off 2 pieces for cleaning free of charge, but it must be picked up at a later date. Polishing costs $50 or $60 per piece...I forget the exact pricing.

Does polishing mean they get scratches off silver pieces, or just remove tarnish? Also, do you have to have original proof of purchase?

I've had my pieces cleaned - I think a while ago I posted I had them polished, but I believe I did just have the cleaning, which is not as intense as the tumbling/polishing, so I can't comment on the intensity of the polishing treatment. I did not have to provide original proof of purchase. They were very nice about cleaning the pieces. I'll often do this when I travel to visit family who live near a Tiffany retail store - wear Tiffany silver to travel so I can get it cleaned when I'm there.

I live 2.5 hrs away from the nearest Tiffany...this was my first time cleaning my Hardwear necklace and OMG. I sprayed it with the cleaner (freebies bc of the big purchase I made that day along with the necklace), and noticed I wasn’t able to wipe the dried stuff from the inside of the links. (!) hence the q-tips, ‍♀️ Hardwear was hard work!
