Not the case in singapore...i jus went last sat..they said silver that needs machine cleaning is $40 per pc or some sort[emoji25] im upset how easy silver loses its shine...hope my husband will stick to buying white gold or platinum nx fime

Had my jewelry cleaned/polished for free while on a business trip to Dallas back in December at the Galleria. Just sent a necklace off to be cleaned again this past Saturday because it had some tarnishing and I tried cleaning myself to no avail (nearest Tiffany's is 3.5 hours way, had to send to NYC) and just received an email that I would be charged $50 plus tax and shipping for a total of $76!!! I am in total SHOCK!!! :nogood:

Wow, this is awesome news! I'm glad they reinstated the free-cleaning service, as I wasn't going to chalk up the $20/piece fee they had previously charged.

Thanks for the heads up :) Next time I head to TCO, I will be bringing some pieces for a complimentary shine!

**Update**: I just called my local Tiffany's store [in Canada] to see if the free cleaning service also applied here, and the saleslady confirmed that it does :woot:

So the Tiffany rep called me and explained. The free cleaning service is only if you take it to an actual store and they will clean it but not polish it. In order to have it cleaned and polished (polishing removes scratches and nicks in silver and makes it like new), you have to mail it in to the T&Co in NYC as a repair and the charge is $50 per piece plus tax/shipping. Hope that clarifies. :smile1:

Thank you for the update. I sent in my Tiffany heart tag for polishing and I was charged back in January 2015 so this is great news.
