I found a random NWT lululemon jacket to buy so I could finally input my cc and see the feature. I have noticed two things:Never mindI was too impatient. It took a good 10 minutes after saving my CC info until the auto-buy feature was available.
1) If someone else has done "auto-buy" on an item in your cart (someone did on the jacket I bought), they will tip you off and say you need to buy by cart expiration or you will lose the item
2) There is no auto buy option on an item in someone's cart where someone else already did autobuy (makes sense).
Oh, like a stolen credit card used or something? That's good that they are still paying you.
something like that I guess. yes, it's cool, I didn't know they will still let me keep the earnings and sell the item themselves in such cases
It's still illegal whether it's sold as "unbranded," "inspired," "fake" or "authenticity unknown."
The law requires that sellers know that items are authentic and if they don't know, they have to find out. And in cases where authenticity can't be confirmed, items can't be sold. (That's the law; I'm not implying that sellers and sites don't violate the law!)
I'm guessing the high school kids processing the items in the warehouse had no idea what it was.

nope
it expired while I was waiting for sale confirmation etc. it took about 2 weeks. 2 lost weeks, they could be sold again during this time

I'm so sorry this happened. That's just wrong.
My own Luxe item that has been almost constantly reserved for 90 days finally expired and I reclaimed it. I was not willing to lower the price and basically give it away. So, I'm just hoping it comes back to me with the original box and tissue and keeper bags. It was a pair of shoes so I might list them myself or send them to TheRealReal.
If you got a million emails from ThredUP this morning about sharing photos, you probably also just got an email with a 20% off code. Max $100 but doesn’t appear to have any designer or price limit restrictions. Hopefully it’ll help some stuff move!
