I am dying to get this bag! My SA at Saks had my name on the list for the Navy. When it came in it was the small size. I really want to get the navy or preferably black in medium. Did Chanel USA get the black in the medium size?
As a side note, Saks only ordered the beige and ivory in the medium size and the pink and navy in the small size. Saks needs a new buyer.

I could use some advice. I really want this bag but have 5 minis already and worry this will be too similar. I like that it has compartments and seems bigger.
Do you guys think I should go for it? Suggestions on color - I am debating between grey, black, navy or pink. I do love grey and have an old medium boy in matte caviar grey. I am worried I won’t use the pink as I rarely use my pink bags.

I just bought a navy small today. I think the color is gorgeous and versatile esp with all the dark jeans I wear. I was debating between this and a rectangular mini... but went with this to be able to carry a bit more. You don’t have a gray or navy mini—so either would work. (Obviously I vote navy!)

No, don’t get it as you already have too many minis. You will be wasting money on the same thing. The mini is a classic look and also all leather which this one is not.
If you want another bag in a similar price point, get the Coco Handle in small. That is a bit larger, dressier, you can wear it hand-held, shoulder or crossbody. The perfect bag. A more sophisticated yet chic bag.
Or, I would get another mini. Size for size, I would buy a classic mini over this. Or if you want something bigger in a flap look, get a M/L.
Also, compartments to me is not a good thing. The sections take up space and limit any larger items you want to carry. That is my one pet peeve about the Coco Handle I have. It looks big but the compartments limit what I can carry (eg. Water bottle).
Just my two cents.

It’s coming out soon! Saks SA says mid Feb and NM SA says anytime now. And boutique SA says soon too. I can’t wait. I love the Coco Handle too!
And by the way, if you like the mini size, it is coming in yellow and green! I love those two colors for bags but the mini is too small for me and this time, I want to get a medium (I already have a small in green).
Hey guys, small update. According to my SA in Las Vegas, the urban companion will come in three sizes. The boutiques only have the small and medium right now. He said that the large is coming soon. The price points are $3100, $3300, and $3600. Apparently the buyer for the US market did not buy the black. The black is only being offered in Europe and Asia (because their buyers are smarter).
So exciting! Thank you!! I don't know what sizes I want yet as I don't know the dimensions for the mini/small. I just know I prefer smaller bags [emoji846]
This is great to hear it is coming in a large. I want a bag that can hold a water bottle and the medium couldn’t because of the divided compartments. I hope the large can! Did your SA mention how big the large is and what colors? My NM SA was not aware NM was getting the large.
He was not explicit on the colors, but it sounded like for sure they are getting the navy in the large. The large dimensions are 8.7x10.2x3.5 in. I am trying to decide which size to go with.
