I decided to go with the large in navy. I will have to wait until it comes in as they do not yet have an arrival date. Fingers crossed he puts me on what he referred to as a very short list!
I think you choose the right size! I saw the medium and the dimensions make it look big but the dividers inside take away from the useable space. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts about it, and I can’t wait until they arrive in the store so I can see if it fits a water bottle!
You're so funny! I think we need to qualify the size of this water bottle. Is it a regular bottle? Is it a workout bottle? Hopefully it isn't like the jug my law professor used to carry around!

But that is my rule with crossbody bags since they are for casual wear. I might need a sippie when I’m out and about on the subway or something [emoji1]
By the way, there is a thread that I think someone purchased a size large (I have been counting the diamonds across from the center of the CC turn lock.
I double checked with another photo I received and I think NM has the large in beige but it is the dark beige and not the classic beige Clair. Just FYI in case you were interested in a beige. It is $3600.00. The SA said she did not think it would fit a water bottle due to the sections. She called it a medium but with the Diamond count and your pricing I am sure it is a large.
I think you need a water bottle flask for this bag! That would make it a definite win for sure!
Beige in any form scares the crap out of me. I wish I were a woman who could wear beige, but I would constantly be thinking about color transfer.
I measured my Louis Vuitton pochette metis (I love this bag) and it's the closest in size to the large, so I decided that was the best route to go.

The LV PM is certainly no Chanel, but it is a great cross body bag. I just appreciate that Chanel has finally jumped on the cross body bandwagon!

The coco handle is one I don’t have and been thinking about it. I had my hands on a few 17B red in coco handle but the symmetry was so poor I couldn’t do it. The quilt pattern was off. It is still on my list in a mini when the right color comes.
What I didn’t mention is that I also have 8 M/L classic flaps (beige with gold not pictured) and 1 small seasonal pink chevron that goes crossbody. The challenge with the medium flaps is that they don’t go cross body. Wish Chanel would just make them longer and provide clips to make the straps shorter for shoulder bag wear.
Completely valid on compartments but I have a bunch of small things that I don’t like scratched so I separate them.
Thank you all for your feedback. Think I am landing on love the bag but I really don’t need another smallish Chanel flap. Resist the temptation.
Canada has black in two sizes - the mini and the large. It was a comfortable and light bag.
Mini = 5 quilts
Small = 6 quilts
Large = almost 7 quilts
Smart Canadians! I had to go to Canada a few months ago to look at a couple of really nice Chanel seasonal bags the US didn’t buy. It’s frustrating. Oh, the miles I’m willing to travel for a good Chanel!
