Definitely on trend now but could continue to be worn after the trend is over.

I opted for one of the marmont mini styles that can be fashioned into a belt bag since I prefer versatility. It's also safer bet also after the trend subsides.

The Marmont mini can be worn as a belt? I did not know that.

Basically, any of their bags that have that type of inner key fob can be fashioned into a belt bag by attaching the fob on the outside to the shoulder strap while around your waist/hips.

That’s cool! Not sure I completely understand how to do it but great idea. I need to rethink this through a bit. Would luv to see mod shots if anyone wants to post.

I can't really believe these bags are coming back in style in such a big way. I was never a fan of belt bags/fanny packs in the past. I do like some of the new ones. I ordered the LV version just released. I contemplated returning it until I found out it was LE and sold out with a decent waiting list. It is on the bigger side which I really didn't want. The new Chanel is perfect in size and colors (pink, yellow, black), but I will not pay $2,700 for this type of bag.

I don't know if you follow any youtube videos but Bipolarmax just did a video all about fanny packs. (lol I hate that term). She has several gucci and the chanel.

Thanks for the info on Bipolarmax. She is quite committed to the fanny packs. She actually showed a couple of other Gucci bags I was interested in. I love the fact that she and her husband often share these bags.

i say yay but depends on the style, for instance, i LOVE the ophidia ones and the marmont super mini. not a fan of the straight up large "i am wearing a fanny pack" fanny packs in the other styles! at least the super mini's convert back to xbody when the trend it out again lol. and the ophidia we know has staying power bc it's revived from the 80's mono web designs.

Do you have modeling pix of your first belt bag? I am also interested in getting the GG supreme belt bag but it's not available at the Gucci near me. Like to see how it looks on as a belt bag and as a cross body bag. Thanks so much
