Thoughts on Gucci's Belt Bag?

I absolutely love belt bags and would collect them in every colour and style if I could. They make great little day bags. I love the styles that properly buckle like a belt the best. I have a bright pink fabric moschino one which is a perfect combination of 'large' and 'loud'. It is the perfect sling bag (have never had the courage to wear around my waist lol). (Unfortunately there has been some colour transfer to the fabric from my devoted use on my last big touring holiday trip.)
Gucci is inspiring me to actually want to wear a belt bag in the manner it is intended - around my waist. I'm not sure whether I have the chops though!!
Unfortunately in Australia we don't have a large selection of the gucci belt bags. Currently just have the red and the black colourways in the leather marmonts along with the two men's canvas choices.

^^my post above comes across a little strangely. I meant the slightly sleazy tone as a joke. But a candid shot of the bag would really be great.

Another version of this bag that I find really interesting is the larger, studded version.
Not available in Australia of course! Maybe it will come eventually to our shores.

I want to love it - I love the classic belt bag shape and I love that it's 'aggressively oversized', which I think could make it a little more 'street' and fun.
But if I am going to have a written expression scrawled across my bag, i want it to be profound not childish or trite. I'm not sure the expressions on these bags are profound or insightful enough for me to enjoy ongoing. 'What are we going to do with all this future' - dont mind it so much but it did occur to me that it sounds like a slogan that could have been developed from an early Gucci revamp meeting with the new designer. Hm.
Could possibly be drawn to the yellow version but they only have black and white versions in Australia *sigh*

I have to agree with you on the classic belt bag / oversized shape - I love that about it... it would be interesting to see it in the yellow but it isn't available in the U.K. either. Both black and white versions completely sold out in around 3 days here.... although I must admit I love the phrase common sense isn't so common anymore - I would have went for that - but white? I really don't get it when companies develop white leather goods - it's like they want them to be ruined 5 minutes after you take them out of the box.

Here is a photo of the yellow. I am not sure where it is being sold. It showed up on the Australian site but with a message that it was not currently available.
I think the style is very 'euro'. Perhaps it translates better in some markets than others.
No doubt when the style sells out here I will kick myself. Happens like that with Gucci.

So what size do people buy? I mean, the smallest size or the biggest size? It's weird that Gucci actually gives size choices. I'm confused.
