I had the same question when I got mine. I'd say it's actually more green than it looks in photos. I think of mine as more olive-y, not khaki at all. Since I have a lima colored bag of another brand, I was concerned that it not dupicate the other bag and it didn't.

That's a lovely box. I like how it looks in the outdoor light, but it seems much more green indoors. I'm not so much of a green person, so I'm scared that it's too green!

didi, the origans do vary in color depth. i chose the lightest one i could find. it is green, nut like a light olive green. no neon here. my pix is really acurate color depiction.
