how did that even happen? frankly, i'm amazed. the seller must have the strongest thumb and index finger in the world.

I saw this too. It looked to me like perhaps the kisslock closure was loose or it popped open a lot and somebody tried to bang it back straight with a hammer or something. A shame, really.

I do have the BF thinking about ways to fix it for me if I decide it's worth a shot . . . which I still may do. I actually never wear brown, but we thought it would be a great gift for his daughter if it's fixable.

It ended up selling for over $200 - that's more than I think I would have paid (unless I knew I could fix it pretty cheap) -- Just curious, did a PFer end up buying her??

I had bid, but only planned to pay up to 175.00. I think it'll be a bit costly to have that fixed (sodering etc.) so I wouldn't go that high.

That's a lot more than I would have guessed it would go for. I hope it was a tPFer so we can see how she repairs it.

^^ me too. im surprised. and i dont think it will be so hard to fix, but the real task challenge will be for it not to break again. its functional- so it's not like you can just glue it back on- kwim?
