1. After two weeks with my PM, I noticed that the hardware around the straps of the bag began to chip! Like literally chip off where you can feel the sharp edges where metal used to be...

2. The leather on the PM seems to be more delicate and less forgiving than Cassie.. like you can scratch it much more easily... I noticed a small scratch on the side of my PM to my horror, after a few times wearing the bag. What’s insane is I actually babied the PM because it was more expensive...

3. It makes me wonder why the hell I paid so much for a bag that breaks down so easily! Shouldn’t the bag basically be pretty indestructible if you’re paying so much for it? Just makes me think...

Basically, after i bought the Cassie, I’ve become enraged with LV and their degrading quality and it makes me super mad that they charge so much for bags that disintegrate after a few light uses... I think I’m done with LV now and I’m actually thinking about selling it once I get it repaired...

That’s awesome that you are enjoying your Cassie so much! I’ve been a Coach fan for a long time but finally was able to start purchasing back in 2011ish. Even then there were grumblings about Coach declining quality lol I think the same is true of most designers when comparing them to years ago. I don’t own any LV but loosely follow the brand and admire many styles and I feel like this is a feeling felt by many LV fans as well that they just don’t make em like they used to!

I own a few vintage Coach bags and the quality is amazing as compared to today. I guess it is what it is! But I have noticed a positive increase in Coach quality over the past couple of years. (There were a few iffy years IMO lol) Specifically the 1941 items they are well made and amazing prices for great leathers with suede or leather lined interiors. I have found that now that I have the means to purchase more premiere designers I just can’t quit Coach as they are the perfect balance of quality, design, and price for me! But I still admire LV and hope to purchase something someday :)

I have several LV’s, and I actually like my some of my COACH bags better. The Charlie, Parker, and Cassie are my FAV’s!

Regardless, Cassie seems to have same issues, it costs 5 times less and i can bare those cracks if they appear. I also have a magic trick from my husband that i plan to try if I have issues - a glue for the wet-suit. It's black, holds firmly and at the same time very flexible. Hopefully i won't need this trick, but ready just in case.

I also have a question for the signature version owners -- did you guys experience any color transfer? The canvas part seems very light to me. Please advise! (Yeah, looking to have couple of Cassies :smile: ))

I just bought my Cassie in the signature I work it out yesterday and today so far no issues but I’ll keep you posted it there is color transfer issues

You're going to LOVE the Cassie. So carefree! I have the empreinte noir PM and I use the Cassie more often due to the fact I don't have to stress about where I'm setting it down or second guessing whether I rubbed against something or not lol

The cracking is obviously a design flaw; however, it will not bother me as long as it remains a small crack and because of its location. If it develops into a bigger problem then I will contact Coach.

Hey there, did you receive your bag in navy yet? I am wanting to pull the trigger but there are such few pics out there on this shade, I’d love to see more pics if you have any!

I received the bag today and it is really cute, but I am returning it. The strap is too long for me to use as a shoulder bag and there were not enough holes to shorten it. If I punch more holes the excess strap length will not look good. So I did not handle it enough to get pix. Sorry, but I wanted it to be in pristine shape when I returned it. PS, I did look at the glaze and it was not cracked, but I can see why it would over time.
