You may laugh but I was looking on Macy's site to see what was on sale. Cassie is not but when I enlarged the photo, there is a crack!!! Get your magnifying glass out and see if you notice it.View attachment 4508550
Well now we know it’s not a defect and just part of the design! Lol
I also wanna add that some of the places who do have the machine might be broken (happened to me). I went to a diff store 30 min away to get it monogrammed
Hi all! I just wanted to give a little update. I’ve owned the pink Cassie for 2 weeks now, and I’ve been using it everyday - it’s freaking amazing! No signs of cracking or staining anywhere... I’m by no means babying the bag either.. just using it the way a bag is supposed to be worn (for me that means I wanna be carefree). There are some things I want to discuss in terms of the quality that I’m noticing specifically compared to the pochette Métis that I also own in the empreinte leather:
1. After two weeks with my PM, I noticed that the hardware around the straps of the bag began to chip! Like literally chip off where you can feel the sharp edges where metal used to be...
2. The leather on the PM seems to be more delicate and less forgiving than Cassie.. like you can scratch it much more easily... I noticed a small scratch on the side of my PM to my horror, after a few times wearing the bag. What’s insane is I actually babied the PM because it was more expensive...
3. It makes me wonder why the hell I paid so much for a bag that breaks down so easily! Shouldn’t the bag basically be pretty indestructible if you’re paying so much for it? Just makes me think...
Basically, after i bought the Cassie, I’ve become enraged with LV and their degrading quality and it makes me super mad that they charge so much for bags that disintegrate after a few light uses... I think I’m done with LV now and I’m actually thinking about selling it once I get it repaired...

Hi ladies. I am awaiting the Cassie in navy. I had lunch with a friend who has the LV PM. I am not a fan of LV but I liked the look and style of the PM. Fortunately I ran across the Cassie and for the price, it was a no brainer to get it instead of the PM. The cracking is obviously a design flaw; however, it will not bother me as long as it remains a small crack and because of its location. If it develops into a bigger problem then I will contact Coach.
I really think maybe it was a finishing spot, where the glazing ended in manufacturing. Mine had this spot when I took it out of the packaging and it was brand spanking new from Macy's. I asked the other day when in store and they tried looking some things up on the computer. They said the only new colors coming out they knew about were the ones with the signature logo. No all leather ones.
But I don’t think they really are given that info anyway. So we will see.

Thanks. I’m trying to stay away from being tempted lol. My birthday is next month I hope something comes out before then I would really love it in saddle.
The ones I looked at actually had the black coating missing in a spot with the fabric showing, thus the white. I could put my finger in the crack. But hopefully it doesn’t continue to crack and peel off.
