They can send it out to get the hot stamping done, or I can take it to another store. I'm not really sure I'd actually wear the tag on the bag. Can you get it stamped any time?

So...we drove to the mall and they had two bags. One was the display. Both had cracking under the flip. I pointed that out and they were a bit cagey about it. Anyway they offered to order one from the factory and honored the 20% discount. I chose to have it delivered to the store so I could inspect it. Guess the wait begins.

I noticed the cracking on mine after my mom used it only a few hours, gave it to me, then I wore it to the grocery store for a quick trip. I think it's likely it had cracking when my Mom bought it. I've been using it a ton lately to see if it would get worse (my SAs idea, she is letting me return if I decide to) and it looks exactly the same. It's a handy little bag that looks great with all my novelty straps so I think I will end up keeping it. I don't think it is likely that my current cracking will get any worse. I was considering exchanging it towards the new dreamer shoulder bag, but cassie looks a bit more sophisticated imo.

When I picked mine up it was vacuumed sealed. I really didn’t inspect it when I picked it up. (I just looked and it’s perfect) I figure if it cracks I will use the leather seam sealer that is sold on amazon for like $8.00. I think by the design of this bag the flap is bound to get cracked with use. I worry about the glazing on the LV bags because if the canvas gets cracked they won’t repair the bag. For Coach, as long as you buy it at a Coach store they have no problem taking it back or replacing it for a year.(I was told this when I picked up the bag)

I was told if you take your tag in to any Coach store they will monogram it for you for free. I guess they have the machine at every store. (I was told this at Coach BH)

The cracking wasn’t noticeable but I knew to look. I mean if I wear it and it cracks on my time I’m okay with it but I don’t want to start with one. So I went ahead and ordered a new one. Hopefully the new one will work out. It’s good to know you haven’t experienced any more cracking. I actually pointed it out to the mgr. she agreed that both bags had cracks. But I’m sure they will try to sell them. There IS something to be said for ignorance!
